Matiko Shoes – New Women’s Shoe Line
Matiko is a new Women’s shoe line we are presenting here at Wish. This is a first for us to sell a more dressier shoe style for the ladies. Matiko is a fun shoe company based out of Los Angles known for their more edgier and eclectic styles. Stay tuned because we will have more future styles from Matiko arriving soon! The two latest silhouettes are now available in-store at our Moreland Ave. location, as well as on our online shop.

The Nike Flight One Quickstrike has become an iconic shoe in the sneaker game. After being worn by Penny Hardaway and being used as the inspiration behind the Nike Zoom Rookie. The shoe is constructed in a space themed color-way with a combination of Dark Grey and Fresh Mint. The signature pods and sole are hit with a Fresh Mint glow-in-the-dark color. The tongue has a removable red Velcro loop connected to a circular space themed Nike logo. The Nike Flight One will be dropping this Thursday, February 23rd and will available in-store at our Moreland Avenue shop. This upcoming Saturday is gearing up to be a great day for all you sneaker-heads. Saturday, February 18th, Wish will be releasing the iconic Air Jordan lV White/Black-Cement for a retail of $160. Also releasing is the Nike Air Max Griffey Fury Fresh Water with a retail price tag of $170. Last but not least is the Nike Air Max 95 Black/Volt retailing for a price tag of $150. Last Friday, we released our highly anticipated KAWS x Wish tee to a packed house. KAWS, Brian Donnelly, was in our building signing autographs on everything from his Hennessy collaborative bottle to dollar bills. Overall, the event was a huge success. We are happy so many of you had the opportunity to meet the internationally respected artist. We hope you had as much fun attending as we did throwing this event. We still have a couple t-shirts left here at the shop, so stop by and grab one or call 404.880.0402 Ext.2 to place a phone order. Also, make sure you stop by the High Museum of Art to check out his newest exhibit which kicks off February 16th.

Burn Rubber, a sneaker boutique based out of Detroit, has teamed up with New Balance for the MT850 “Workforce Pack”. The MT850 has been a huge success in the Asian markets and Burn Rubber wanted to bring some of the hype over to America. The two shoe pack was inspired by the hardworking men and women of Michigan in the blue and white collar work forces. The first part of the pack dropping is the “Blue Collar” edition featuring a tonal Grey suede and mesh upper, a gum outsole and flashes of 3M reflective foxing. The New Balance MT580 “Blue Collar” Workforce will be available February 15th at our Moreland Ave shop. No pre-orders or holds will be allowed in advance. Nike Basketball is releasing a 2012 collection including the LeBron 9, Zoom KD IV and Kobe VII System Supreme in honor of the 36th anniversary of Black History Month. The mockup of the three shoes includes a dark grey base color with a African rainbow print inspired by African Culture. In keeping with this holiday tradition of giving back to organizations that work to inspire youth towards greatness, Nike, Inc. will make a financial contribution to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America. A release date is slated for February 11th at our Moreland Ave shop. No pre-orders or holds will be allowed in advance. Norse Projects – New Men’s Line from Denmark
Denmark based Norse Projects launched their own line in 2009 and has been rapidly growing ever since. Their slogan states “Created to improve life – good for all seasons.” The slogan really shows throughout the entire line. Its very simple and functional with amazing textiles and small details. All Norse products are manufactured in Europe except for their head-wear line which is made in one of the USA’s oldest hat factories – the quality speaks for itself. The knits are produced in Italy and the rest being manufactured in Portugal. Their latest Spring/Summer collection is now available in-store at our Moreland Ave. location as well as in the online shop Norse Projects is for the win so stop by and grab a piece of their latest collection.

Just in from adidas Originals is the popular AR 2.0 following the footstep of the Roundhouse its a very progressive sneaker blending classic adidas Originals features with a more modern futuristic approach. The adidas Originals AR 2.0 is here now in an all black combination in suede and patent leather uppers with a grey piping and lacing being offered in Men’s and Women sizes. We also have the Grey Rock which is predominantly all Grey mock up with black piping pretty much opposite to the AR 2.0 Black both colorways also having a full mesh tongue with the large Adidas Originals logo hit. The Foamposite always a big hit here at Wish this time dropping in a vibrant metallic red just in time for the upcoming Valentines Day with a release date of February 4th. The shoe mock up is an all metallic red with the lace area and tongue being blacked out. To finish it off the heel is hit with the Penny Hardaway logo and the translucent sole with a carbon fiber arch inlay makes this Foamposite one for the books. So ladies if you were wondering what to do for your man this year this just might be your solution! A release date is slated for February 4th through our Moreland Ave shop. Some big releases are scheduled for February and The Huarache Volt is kicking it off right! The Volt colorway is back again for the Spring since its predecessor the Nike Air Max 90 “Volt” earlier this month. This Nike Air Huarache Free Basketball is a good take on the ever so popular Original Nike Air Huarche. The shoe is mocked up in an all white combination with leather uppers and Volt hits amongst the inner foot area and a black ankle hit. The sole is consisted of the super comfortable Nike Free sole with a black midsole that wraps from one side to the other. The Nike Air Huarache Free Basketball 2012 will be dropping next Wednesday 02/01 for a retail of $115 USD. Recap: SEA x BSM Hat Release | Waka Flocka In-Store
Last night here at Wish was a packed event for the SEA and BSM hat release. Waka was in the building with friends and family including many super fans to support the charity cause to stop bullying, or as Waka said it best “Karate chop bullying”. Overall the hats were a huge success and we were honered here at Wish to hold the event. Many special guest came through even some of the Brick Squad stopped by to support the cause and make an appearance. Its pretty cool to see an artist like Waka to step up and take a stand against a great cause like this with his fans to follow the possibilities are endless to make a change!
