The Wish ATL “Stranger Than Fiction” Capsule is a collection of pieces inspired by mid-90’s horror nostalgia. The hoodies in the collection feature embroidered graphics and a call out to the 90’s Nickelodeon series “Are You Afraid Of The Dark” while the tee pays homage to the popular “Goosebumps” novel series. Shop the collection here or pick it up in-store now!
Accompanying the relaunch of the new and improved Wish ATL, we are also releasing our collaborative capsule with Billionaire Boys Club. This is BBC’s first collection with a prominent entity in Atlanta so it was important to go classic by featuring the cult favorite “moon man” as well as “ATL” stylized with BBC’s popular font. Be sure to grab these when they release in-store Saturday August 22, 2020.

As part of our partnership we worked with Ludacris to design the official t-shirt for the special weekend, even adorning him with a special 1 of 1 “camo” edition of the iconic t-shirt. Since 2005, rapper, actor, and humanitarian Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges has dedicated Labor Day weekend to social service and responsibility. Coming off the successful drop on May13th, we will have a small restock of the Climacool’s. This iconic, early 21st century runner is currently enjoying a real renaissance. This time it is made translucent and, as its counterpart, luminescent. Similar to the PureBOOST, a new Primeknit fiber processing is applied that results in a geometricpatterned upper. As well as an outstanding product, it is a great example of adidas returning to an archive model and giving a type of contemporary rework impossible at the time of the Climacool’s initial conception.
Sneakerboy’s stores are all situated on the Australian Coast so the retailer looked to the sea for inspiration and began exploring aesthetic references to the box jellyfish, the world’s deadliest jellyfish. Its translucency and luminescence were the starting point for the collaborative design process. Even though native to the Australian waters, Wish – by chance – also knew of this particular jellyfish: the Georgia Aquarium is one of only four institutions in the world which houses the specimen. A great coincidence and exceptional link between these two partners.
This past Saturday Atlanta gathered at Wish ATL for the launch of the Adidas Consortium x Wish x Sneakerboy collaboration. The store was transformed into an under the sea experience – the sneaker room was a glow in the dark ocean oasis and upstairs, a jellyfish installation greeted everyone as they made their way into the store. We also had DJ Don Cannon bring the sound, creating an awesome vibe. As a token of our appreciation, the first 100 people who bought sneakers were gifted with a special edition glow in the dark sneaker pin that mimicked our collab shoe which was super dope. Thank you to everyone who came out and check out the photos below!
Love. Peace. Strength. Hope. Kindness. These are just a few of the words heard when we asked our customers what they wish for in the world today.
This month we felt it was extremely important to engage in the conversation about the uncertainty in our world today. We asked our customers what they were feeling and how it has affected them personally. It is important to talk about the issues we are facing today and make sure we come together to create the change we want to see.
The words on our shirt represent what we want to see. It is the change we want to create. It is what we wish for….
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of our shirts will go towards The Center for Civil and Human Rights. https://www.civilandhumanrights.org/
A very special thank you to all of our customers who participated in our video. Your words were truly inspiring and we are extremely proud to share your voice with the world.
Wish ATL is launching a new charity initiative this month called #wishforkicks. We are collecting donations all month to turn those dollars into sneakers to give away to the teens from Chris180.org. Chris180 serves youth ages 6-17 in foster care who have emotional challenges stemming from trauma, as well as 18-24 year olds that are “aging out” of the foster care system and need help to get on their feet. Our goal is to provide a pair of sneakers from Wish for each child & teen in the organization for the Holidays.
Wish ATL has teamed up with a number of celebrities to help launch the program. Their generous donations helped us jump start this terrific campaign

In partnership with the High Museum, Wish ATL is excited to announce that “The Rise of Sneaker Culture” exhibit is coming to Atlanta! The exhibition explores the evolution of the sneaker from its origins in the mid-nineteenth century to its role in the present day as an urban status symbol and marker of masculine identity. There will be 155 different sneakers on display from the archives of adidas, Nike, and Converse, to design houses such as Prada and Louboutin. Come by the store and snap a pic standing on our Sneaker Exhibit mat and share on social media with the hashtag #SneakerHigh2016 for a chance to be included in an interactive slide show. Don’t miss the exhibit when it lands in Atlanta on June 11th, 2016.
For this year’s Black History Month capsule, we collaborated with Atlanta based artist Markeidric (@Markeidric) to pay homage to four musicians: Ray Charles, James Brown, Otis Redding, and Gladys Knight. Taking inspiration from Mount Rushmore, we chose these four iconic Georgia musicians to be the faces on our own mountain of greatness. Through a t-shirt consisting of butter yellow and red graphic in resemblance of the Georgia clay, these musicians are recognized for sticking to its roots and cultivating music’s greatest sounds. The collection is now available here.
