Just in from Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 line, comes a new set of clean sneakers perfect to pair with almost anything in your Spring wardrobe. Coming in simple colorways such as white, black, and blue, the trio of sneakers feature a lot of features notable to the brand and adidas in general. Tubular outsoles and boost technology are amongst these features. The popular Qasa High is back in an eye-catching all white colorway, while the Retro Boost returns in a blue outfit. Completing the set is the mens QR Run with a black upper and also featuring the cozy boost technology. Missing an official release back in 1987, comes an amazing non-OG colorway of the Air Jordan 2 following the release of the Just Don x Air Jordan 2’s. Dressed in a bred-like colorway, the upper is made up of mostly black, with hints of varsity red throughout. A snakeskin detailing pairs beautifully with the black leather on the upper. Nike branding on the heel and Jordan on the tongue completes the silhouette. Be sure to pick up the “Alternate ’87” Air Jordan 2 when it drops this Saturday, February 6th.

After a successful year for the Foamposite silhouette, Nike looks to keep the ball rolling in 2016 with this University Blue rendition of the classic sneaker. Native to the Foamposite, its shell is covered in a clean and simple University Blue, while the rest of the upper settles for black. Hints of blue are seen on the heel and tongue tab, while an icy translucent outsole completes the sneaker. Look for the University Blue Foamposite to drop this Friday, February 5th.

The Nike Air Trainer Cruz returns in eye-catching fashion with this “Rush Blue” rendition of the of the NFL players signature sneaker. Dressed in an ultramarine hue, the monochromatic sneaker features suede on the ankle collar and toe box, while a woven side panel helps to add texture to the silhouette. Silver accents on the lace eyelets help to add some contrast to the shoe and a tonal straps finishes off the look over the upper. Keep your eyes peeled for a February 10th release.

KITH x adidas Consortium Tubular Doom

Kith-1Kith partners with adidas Consortium to launch their 12-month World Tour campaign, as Ronnie Fieg introduces the Tubular Doom silhouette for the first time. Inspired by the cold unforgiving concrete jungle of New York City where Fieg resides, this collaboration boasts a cement grey Primeknit upper fortified by a charcoal wool cage for warmth. Robust marled elastic straps at the quarter panel and forefoot provide further stabilization and warmth, crucial for fast-paced New York metropolitans during the winter season. The Primeknit upper utilizes a sock-like construction, as the knit textile wraps up to cover the wearer’s ankle. Lastly, Kith’s slogan of Just Us can be seen on the heel guard. This winterized upper sits atop an aggressive Tubular sole unit, which doubles as a midsole and outsole due to its unique form. Two lace options and co-branded footbeds are the final details on this premium execution.

Nike has dropped off three unique colorways to help introduce this knitted version of their famed silhouette, a “Total Crimson” and “Black/White” for women and a “University Red” for Men. The men’s and women’s Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit are now available January 28 in-store and by phone order.

Last years collaboration between Just Don and Jordan Brand was met with major success, displaying Don C’s ability to make a unique and beautiful Air Jordan. Choosing to use the Air Jordan 2 Retro as his canvas once again, Don decidedly sticks with a single tone for this release as well. Coming in a sandy tan, the sneaker is wrapped in a quilted premium leather, with hints of suede finishing off the upper. The packaging impresses as well with its giant red box, matching the hat included in the pack. The hat, noticeably missing the patent snakeskin leather familiar to Just Don caps, trades for a simple red leather which makes up the entirety of the cap. Be on the look out for raffle details coming next Thursday for your chance to be able to purchase a pair of the Just Don x Air Jordan 2’s, with the shoes dropping next Saturday, January 30th.

After a few low renditions of Air Jordan releases such as the Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 1, Jordan Brand is back with a rarely seen Air Jordan 5 Low. Taking a colorway that could’ve been taken out of the early 90’s, the sneaker features a Black/Metallic look, while trading the translucent misole for a bright Gym Red adding some pop. All of the same Air Jordan 5 features are visible such as the lace locks notable to the silhouette. The Air Jordan 5 Low “Alternate” will release this Saturday, January 30th.

This time taking their 90’s EQT runner as the silhouette, they mix old with new by adding Boost technology to the midsole. Keeping with the retro styling of the runner, they even give it a couple retro colorways to match with vintage white accents throughout. The sky is the limit for adidas as the Boost’s rising popularity looks very promising. Look for these to drop this Saturday, January 30th.

With the Chinese New Year just a couple weeks away, it is now adidas turn to make their mark on the Chinese holiday. Taking three of their hottest silhouette’s at the moment, the Tubular, Tubular Doom, and Tubular X, adidas gives them a tonal red make up to represent the holiday. All of the silhouettes contain a similar mesh material, while white bottoms complete the midsoles for all three. Gold accents on the lace tips and eyelets help to add detail, while croc skin can be seen on all of them to finish the look. Expect more Tubulars to come in 2016, as this is likely just the tipping point. Look for these to drop Saturday, January 23rd online.

Bodega x ASICS Gel-Classic ‘On The Road’

ASICS-2Asics and Bodega capture the spirit of the road in a classic running shoe, the Gel Classic to be exact. In keeping with the spirit of exploration, a deep dive into the Asics archives yielded the early 90s stability runner being reintroduced as the Gel Classic. The original upper has been replaced with lush suede, while the famous Asics tiger stripes are rendered in leather. The toebox and side panels of the shoe are perforated, not just as a visual distinction, but as a subtle nod to the breathable nylon upper of the original Gel Trendy. The new color palette features neutral earth tones accented by soft pastels, which all serve to highlight the sensations of the open road.

Rita Ora, adidas Originals muse and collaborator, explores textures through a monochrome palette with vibrant color contrasts. This time around, Rita uses the iconic Stan Smith and the ZX Flux and puts her styling on them. For the Stan Smith, she keeps the sneaker relatively neutral with a suede red upper and clean white bottom. The sneaker is lined with a floral print which is also used to wrap the ZX Flux. Reebok Instapump Fury Road “Year of the Monkey”

For this release, Reebok represents the year of the Fire Monkey with a blazing red leather on the heel.
