Today, LeBron James can boast over 10 All-Star appearances, multiple MVP awards and the game’s most precious accomplishment. Before it all, he took part in one of the most highly anticipated Rookie challenges ever, racking up 33 points for the now legendary 2003-2004 rookie class. The special moment called for special footwear, with LeBron wearing his debut Air Zoom Generation in the now highly coveted ‘Wheat’ make-up. Geared for off-court use, the LeBron XII EXT features a wheat nubuck upper with metallic gold accents. As a nod to LeBron’s memorable rookie challenge performance, the heel pull-tab displays the date 2.13.04. Classic LeBron branding on the tongue tab and sockliner tie back to the legendary Air Zoom Generation.

Coming Soon: adidas Originals by Pharrell Williams Superstar Supercolor Pack

As we transition from the “Solid” Stan Smith collaboration, adidas Originals presents its latest collaboration with Pharrell Williams in a Superstar rendition. In total, the classic silhouette is redone in 50 different colorways, spanning the majority of the color spectrum. Describing the pack, Pharrell offers, “Supercolor is a celebration of equality through diversity. With 50 colors of the Superstar, everybody will be able to select his or her color. It is more diverse than any pack ever before and therefore it is more individual than any pack ever before.” Be on the lookout for the Superstar Supercolor Pack releasing at midnight Thursday night.

From New Balance‘s Spring 2015 collection comes the classic Made in USA M998 in a new tonal grey colorway. Featuring predominantly grey suede upper with tonal mesh inserts on the toe box and collar, and light grey laces, plastic accents and branding. The Air Jordan 10 Retro was created through Jordan Brand’s remastering initiative, a new manufacturing process used to produce retro sneakers that are closer to their originals in terms of quality, look and feel. Among the first retro sneakers to be remastered, the Air Jordan 10 Retro pay homage to the concrete jungle and its historic impact on the Jordan Brand’s enduring legacy. Proving he was still a force to be reckoned with on the hardwood, Jordan put up 55 points against New York, leaving no question that he was, indeed, back. The “Double Nickel” was originally a player exclusive pair worn by MJ in a few games after he came out of retirement in 1995 while wearing jersey number 45.

Continuing with Jordan Brand latest 30th anniversary collection, several classic silhouettes are being mocked up in brand new colorways for the coming months. This time around, the Air Jordan 4 Retro gets a brand new colorway in “Teal.” The “Teal” is part of Jordan’s new series of remastered retro models, which are said to feature new processes, materials and molds in an attempt to as closely replicate the original as possible. The iconic silhouette features premium leather upper in vibrant shades of teal and blue, finished with black and white accent details around the midsole and heel.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan XX “Stealth”

Ten years ago, Jordan Brand introduced the Air Jordan XX. Like the Air Jordan shoes that preceded and have followed it, the XX pushed the envelope in performance and style. While features like Independent Podular Suspension pushed the shoe’s playability to a new level, its design also turned heads with its laser-etched graphic and ankle-strap upper, previously unseen in Jordan performance footwear models. Ten years later, the Air Jordan XX is back in the original Black/Stealth-Varsity Red colorway. It features a patent leather and Nubuck upper, IPS cushioning technology and a laser-etched lace cover.

Fashion designer Rick Owens has a running relationship with adidas, consistenly putting his personal twist on many of the brand’s most notable models. The ongoing project sees its next batch of kicks with the Rick Owens x adidas Spring 2015 Collection, which most notably utilizes the adidas Springblade and adidas Superstar. Led off by the original Springblade silhouette in high-end materials and tonal colorways without the branding, an ultra high snow boot-like version of the bladed technology is even more of a can’t-miss in this collection. Finally, Owens also turns the Superstar into boot fashion as well for 2015.

Feature x Saucony G9 Shadow 6000 “High Roller”

Sin City takes center stage as Las Vegas’ Feature Sneaker Boutique pays homage to its hometown with a collaborative “High Roller” edition of Saucony‘s hybrid G9 Shadow 6000. Taking cues from the ubiquitous casino chip, Feature’s “High Roller” edition of the runner comes draped in buttery suede and soft perforated leather, pairing salmon accents with a predominately black aesthetic and reflective 3M accents. Highlighting the design is the tongue’s $100 USD chip branding — complete with Feature’s own “All Things Good” motto. Finished off with a speckled midsole and gum rubber outsole and packed alongside custom playing cards and an extra set of laces, the “High Roller” G9 Shadow 6000 is due out this Friday, December 19 both in-store at our Moreland Ave. location and online.

Released in 1996 by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan XI “Legend Blue” were the pair that Michael wore durring his first NBA All-Star Game back from his retirment.
