In the same vein as the Foamposite “Weatherman” and “Thermal Map” iterations comes the Nike Air Foamposite One “Safari.” Completely covered in the classic black and white safari print, black eyelet panels and orange detailing contrasts the greyscale pattern. An icy translucent outsole balances out the design, keeping the focus on the upper. Be on the lookout for word on this upcoming release.
The year 2013 has seen a multitude of apparel designs that are rooted in the reapportioning of large brands, or in other words, flipping logos to make a new and unique design. Well, streetwear imprint Hall of Fame took this literally as it teamed up with headwear giant Mitchell & Ness to create the Hall of Fame x Mitchell & Ness “Upside Down” Headwear Collection. Just as the name says, this range sees upside down team logos from some of the NBA’s most noticeable teams- the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Orlando Magic, New York Knicks, and the Miami Heat.Featuring right-side-up team branding on the side panel and the usual Mitchell & Ness imprint on the back of the hat, this range puts a new spin on headwear for the Fall/Winter season.

Showing full brand support for his airness’s namesake sportswear line, the attendees brought out a plethora of heat from the closet. In addition to a wide variety of Retro’s, LeBron releases and Doerbecher drops, we also caught a rare sighting of the storied Marc Jacobs x Vans Slip-On from years ago. Enjoy the eye candy.

Our “A Night With Jordan Brand” event with Senior Global Design Director Jason Mayden and Director of Energy Footwear Gemo Wong that took place this past Friday night was not only a special night for us here at Wish, but also the city of Atlanta, and all of our supporters. Attendees got more than what they bargained for, as the night was not only about sneakers and fashion, but also about career goals, character building, and life lessons from the Jordan Brand Senior Directors. However, the night consisted of more than just presentations from Mayden and Wong, who after their talks were able to have one-on-one conversations with guests and even critique several creative portfolios. Perhaps the most fascinating part of the night came as ten raffle winners were selected to preview future Jordan Brand models and a select two had the priveledge of designing their own custom pair of Nike i.D. sneakers with Mayden and Wong. With drinks sponsored by Mountain Dew, the night also saw a one-of-a-kind limited sneaker collection by Tennesee native Joseph Privitte, a special appearance by rapper Killer Mike, and a custom pair of Wish Air Jordan 3 Retro Doernbechers.
If you weren’t able to attend, or just want to refresh your memory, take a look at images from the memorable night below:

In recent seasons, Stampd has definitely come on as the new standard when it comes to producing some nice all-black-everything themed product. This is especially true for the latest headwear releases from the Los Angeles based brand. Both labeled “All Black,” the “Dope” & “Hard Hat” are rooted in the usual black aesthetic, with “Los Angeles” printed under the brim. Nails seemingly drilled into the brim of the “Hard Hat” give it a one-of-a-kind look, as the “Dope” embroirdered logo gives this hat a classic look.
For the newest release of the Nike Air Trainer, Nike decides to extend the domination of the Alabama Crimson Tide into the sneaker game. The new release of the retro trainer, which ironically is traditionally linked with bitter Auburn Tiger rival Bo Jackson, sees a White/Black-Cement Grey-Total Crimson colorway with Alabama-specific details like an elephant-patterned mudguard, the Alabama imprint chenille “A” script at the tongue, and an icy outsole that houses the Alabama logo across the left and right shoes resembling that of the Zoom Vapor receiver gloves. Coming just in time for the Crimson Tide’s showdown with the LSU Tigers, this release will be available soon at Wish.
