With the upcoming wave of footwear hitting shelves for the upcoming Fall/Winter season, adidas Originals is not to be outdone, releasing several new strong models in the Matchplay and Rivalry Hi families. The adidas Originals Matchplay relies heavily on animal print to adorn these releases, seeing both Leopard and a zig-zag Zebra print patterns covering a pony hair upper. For the Rivalry Hi, adidas pulls from a range of different colors to construct the trio of sneakers which includes a Black/White model that closely assembles the mastermind Japan collaboration that relased earlier this year.
The adidas Originals ZX700, a great multifunctional long-distance runner, returns for Fall/Winter 2013 in Deep Petrol/Chrome/Steel. Keeping the upcoming harsh winter weather in mind, adidas substituted the usual mesh with ripstop materials. However, Marcelo Burlon has recently found success in his latest venture, a well-received fashion line. The Argentinian designer infuses each of his designs with bold motifs and visuals that combine an plethora of Burlon’s own experiences and influences.
Printed on graphic tees and crewnecks, the Marcelo Burlon fashion imprint serves as the equivilant of a blank canvas. Any one piece features a plethora of graphics designed by Giorgio Di Salvo and boasts a range of Argentinian feathers, esoteric symbols and nods to various cultural influences.
