Amidst the developing ladder of street-meets-high fashion ranks, designer Shayne Oliver’s HOOD BY AIR imprint has rapidly risen to the upper echelon. Established in 2006 with a heavy influence of bold sans serif typefaces and gritty screened grphic prints, HOOD BY AIR has since gone on to make a name for itself in both the T-shirt landscape as well as the ready-to-wear realm. Moving from Oliver’s make-shift sewing studio to the runway, HOOD BY AIR now has a strong reputation during both Paris Fashion Week as well as New York Fashion week having added an entire ready-to-wear section to its seasons.
