Black Scale has always professed a decidedly darker and slightly caliginous aesthetic throughout its formative years. Despite subsisting very well within the confines of the greater “streetwear” sphere, the label has been able to maintain its darkside while hanging with the graphic-tee movements and motif-heavy designs. For Spring/Summer 2013, the brand delves into the world of accessories with a two-piece inspired by bones. A bracelet and a ring are offered that are treated in a metallic finish and engraved with Black Scale typography.

The latest in the brand’s delivery two for the season sees a duo of 5-Panel camp caps offered up in a unique Floral motif. Two colors – navy and green – see the all-overprint pattern on the crown and brim, while a subtle Undefeated tag resides on the front and center.

[UPDATED] Coming Soon: The Ewing Athletics 2013 Ewing Focus

While many professional basketball players were partnering up with large companies to produce individual sneakers, in 1989, Patrick Ewing became the first NBA player to offer his own brand of sneakers, Ewing Athletics. However, last year saw the first release in 17 years from Ewing Athletics with the relaunch of the Ewing 33 Hi. Now, after the successful releases of this model in multiple colorways such as the “Jamaica” and “Georgetown”, Ewing Athletics is back with the release of a fresh model, the Ewing Focus. Unlike the 33 Hi, the Focus boasts its signature ankle strap with “FOCUS” boldly embroidered at the front as well as red neoprene on the quarter panels and ankle as highlights. This, just the second model to be released/retroed by Ewing Athletics, will have a limited release of only 33 accounts worldwide.

The release date of the Ewing Athletics 2013 Ewing Focus has been changed. Further information regarding the time of sale for these will be announced at a later time.

Futura x SSUR 2013 Spring/Summer T-Shirts

After successfully collaborating with both Black Scale and Been Trill, SSUR’s Russ Karablin enlists another heavyweight for his more recent collaboration. This time, one of the most recognizable street artists in streetwear, Futura, brings his signature handwritten style to a full capsule with the New York brand. Building mass anticipation since preview images hit the internet earlier this year, two of the tees from this collection are now available at Wish. Track of the Day: Woodkid Performs Live Acoustic of ‘I Love You’

While predominantly known for his mainstream work on video direction, graphic design and songwriting, Yoann Lemoine has been gaining even more substantial exposure as of late under his stage name, “Woodkid.” After the debut of his Pharrell remix for the cut, “I Love You,” Woodkid lets loose an intimate and well-shot video documenting a live acoustic performance of the same song. Taken from his full length album, The Golden Age, the acoustic performance displays Woodkid’s natural stage presence, powerful vocals and strength in songwriting. Thanks to Penny Hardaway’s stay with the Orlando Magic, the Hardaway line of Nikes have seen long been mixed up in the royal colorway. However, departing from the usual combonation of colors that this model usually sees, the Nike Air Foamposite “Sport Royal” features a shiny sport royal upper with wolf grey lining along the trim and lace work. An icy outsole caps off the colorway, complemented by the classic carbon fiber support.

The store was packed as fans, shoppers, and even Trinidad James gathered to hangout, shake hands, or get a signature or picture taken with Ralph himself. Wale, a well known sneaker collector, also took the chance to sign a few sneakers among promotional posters for the upcoming project. We’ve recently taken stock of one of the more anticipated Lebron releases as of late: The Lebron X EXT “Denim.” As expected, the pair arrive in an all-over rich indigo denim upper that see subdued and tonal stitchwork throughout. Vibrant “Fireberry” runs the base of the pair’s midsole and is situated atop a translucent matching outsole and Flywire eyelets. Hazelnut leather completes the look and is layered over the tongue and waxed laces.
