Mishka has been coming very strong over the past few seasons with a wide range of New York-influenced, street staples. For Fall/Winter 2013, Greg and the Mishka imprint release a special zebra print snapback branded as the “DA RUMBLE” snapback hat. Featuring a customary Death Adders embroidery patch on the front section, the 5-panel snapback is mocked up with all-over print orange animal patterning.
Often pulling inspirations from classic video game visuals and nostalgic characters, Mishka introduces its latest knapsack for Fall/Winter 2013. Branded as the “Munchies” backpack, the bag is reminiscent of nights spent video gaming heavily – particularly with PAC-MAN. The black nylon bag is finished off with screen print hits of pixelated fruits that are paired with Mishka’s digitized Keep Watch eyeball.
The Death Adders crew has aligned once again for a range of Spring/Summer 2013 headwear options. Mishka NYC debuts an assortment of snapback hats and 5-panel camp caps that align with its larger seasonal collection. Boasting traditional flipped sports logos and iconic Mishka graphics, the hats also feature an assortment of all-over patterns including leopard prints, zebra striping and summer Hawaiian patterns.
Finding the shoes is just half the battle. Once you’ve scored your coveted pair of shoes that you blew an entire paycheck on and waited in line for, now you have to find what to wear it with.
We have taken it upon ourselves to handpick a few pieces that we would personally pair with the “Aqua”. The pieces do not necessarily match which we like, but it all works together somehow. The Air Jordan “Aqua” will be dropping January 7th so be sure to get yours before they are gone!
An adaptation of their classic Keep Watch Eyeball art, Mishka drops their latest “Damaged Keep Watch Tee” in black on us for their Fall/Winter Delivery #2. Retailing for $30, now available in-store and online.
Well, we’ve had a busy past week up here at the shop. Two weekends ago was the No Brakes and Mishka Bike Race event. The Monday after Married to the MOB stopped by and threw a dope Pop-Up shop. And then, needless to say, the Final Warehouse Sale this past weekend was just crazy. We’ll be posting up pics from the last couple events through the day.
First up is the Mishka x Wish x No Brakes event pics. The Bike race, which was sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon [more]and a slew of other bicycle gear companies, was amazing. It kicked off at No Brakes and took contestants through various stops throughout the city. The goal was to complete all the objectives (such as chugging a beer) at each stop and make it to the end as soon as possible. Margaritas were served at the Wish stop and the guys had a chance to kick it with the whole Wish staff and chop it up for a few minutes before hitting the road again. In order to win the race, contestants had to choose from a select handful of designs and get it tattoed on them from either Ink & Dagger or Memorial Tattoo. That’s intense. Follow the jump for all the pics.
Free Food and Beer? Of course.
It was good to see a diverse crowd among the contestants. We saw a mesh of No Brakes customers as well as some Wish homeys.
I think it stayed on his helmet the whole race…
Those shoes look familiar…
As the people started to arrive at Wish a good crowd started developing throughout the night at Wish.
This was by far one the best things we saw throughout the night. No, it was not open…
