Timeless simplicity meets an equally timeless trailblazer this week, with the Nike Air Trainer 3 White/Gum now hitting stores.
The classic Air Trainer 3, one of the models that helped popularized the cross training shoe category, is crisp and clean in solid white, with leather, TPU straps and inlaid canvas converging on the stylishly sporty upper. A gum outsole then sharply contrasts, the always-welcome feature adding balance without compromising the upper’s all-white vision.

Having already served up several gum-infused style codes already, the Nike Air Trainer III is back with yet another new offering. This time around, Bo Jackson’s classic cross trainer sees its premium suede upper, accents and interior lining decked out in wolf grey while a contrastive touch of white holds down the midsole and tongue branding.

The Air Jordan XI—one of the most iconic and beloved Air Jordan models of all time—follows His Airness’ insight of bringing a formal look to the court, featuring patent leather for the first time in an athletic shoe. Jordan Brand celebrates the 30th anniversary with a new Air Jordan 11 Retro Low, taking the classic Black/True Red colors from the original high version.

Titolo is back with a brand new collaborative effort atop the ever-classic Asics Gel Lyte III. Named the “Papercut”, this isn’t an homage to the stingingly painful cuts on your fingertips, but instead references the art of Scherenschnitt, or paper cutting. In an homage to the Switzerland boutique’s Zurich shop, this Gel Lyte III references the intricate pattern on the ceiling of the store with a unique insole while the black and white floral pattern extends to the neoprene mesh and side panel striping. The premium black base is in an effort to continue the premium Tiger branding that was recently introduced.

Nike and Liberty take a trip back to the 1970s with their new collection for summer 2015. The collection features the rarely seen Merlin print, originally designed by Liberty for a silk scarf back in 1972. The print’s geometric shawl design, which includes a playful layout of circles and concentric squares, is applied to a range of contemporary and heritage Nike footwear and apparel silhouettes. Chosen for its bright coloring, striking pattern and unusual design, the Merlin print gives the Nike x Liberty Summer 2015 collection a disruptive, standout aesthetic. The collection intersects past and present to create something completely original.
