Set to join the Opening Ceremony x adidas Originals 2013 Fall/Winter “BBALL” Collection that released recently, the collaborative duo is back to release some basketball-esque pieces for the upcoming Fall season. Matching well with the BBALL Collection sneakers, the range features a pair of unique paisley laden shorts featuring a tear-away zipper and velcro along with a matching Green thermal logo shirt to round out the dellivery.
One of the newest addition to the shelves of our footwear library arrives in the form of mainstay footwear brand, Saucony. For the inaugural drop, New York’s boutique West NYC aligns with Saucony to release the “Tequila Sunrise” Shadow 5000. The timeless Saucony runner is mocked up in an amalgam of black and aqua colorway hits across the mesh panels and mesh tongue. Elsewhere buttery soft suede panels round out the toe cap, side panels and lace vamp. Limited stock of the West NYC x Saucony Shadow 5000 “Tequila Sunrise” is now available in-store and online through Wish.

Jetsetting for both work and pelasure, if there’s anyone who understands the needs of a life at 30,000 feet, it’s Jeff. Aligning with Herschel Supply. Co. for a special capsule collection this season, jeffstaple and his Staple Design imprint have curated the limited edition “Knowmatic Kit” collection of bags. The trio arrives mocked up in a trademark Staple Pigeon camouflage motif with customary Herschel Supply Co. leather details and embroidery branding. Following up on the retirement of Grant Hill from the league, the iconic ball player and his footwear imprint align to re-release The 95 – Hill’s first signature shoe. The pair arrives more nostalgic than ever and is mocked up in pure white full grain leather with hits of contrasting Navy Blue throughout. The trademark FILA motif is seen emblazoned across the right midsole and the mesh tongue.
Staple keeps it going delivering more styles from its 2013 Fall Collection. For Fall/Winter 2013, Undefeated steps even further into its nostalgic, sports-inspired roots with a range of beanies for the seasonal range. Featuring classic pom executions and single cuffed models, the collection arrives in the form of the “Tiger Pom Pom” beanie in a trio of colors as well as the “All Good Pom Pom” beanie and the “Undefeated Stripe Beanie.” Each of the Tiger Pom Pom beanies feature a knitted team Tiger across the majority of the crown with a matching colored pom beanies on top. Elsewhere, the All Good Pom Pom beanies is a two-tone navy and green beanies that sees the script “ALL GOOD” emblazoned across the front stripe. Lastly, the Undefeated Stripe Beanie hits hard with a black-and-yellow colorway that sees a trailing “UNDEFEATED” knitted across the entire top.
When the Tinker Hatfield and Josh Heard designed Air Jordan XX8 was first introduced this year, it was skeptically received by critics and footwear aficianados. Atlanta’ very own, The SoundTable is pleased to welcome Chef Matt Abergel and Lindsay Jang of the venerable Yardbird restaurant in Hong Kong for a single night of exceptional food, custom cocktails and heavy, heavy music.
Chef Abergel, who cut his teeth at NYC’s legendary Masa Sushi (the first sushi bar ever to have garnered 3 Michelin stars) opened Yardbird with his partner Lindsay Jang back in the summer of 2011 to great approbation. His focus on simple, detailed dishes along with the freshly minimal look of the place soon had throngs of the hip and the hungry queuing up down the block.
Earlier this year, Yardbird was named one of the top 50 restaurants in Asia. Now, on the heels of a feature dinner at NYC’s Food and Wine Festival, the Yardbird crew will be collaborating with us for a singular dining experience ‘neath the cover of October skies.
Abergel will be creating a menu based around the freshest local pastured poultry, and bar manager Navarro Carr will be working out a focused, delicious selection of cocktails designed specifically to pair with the meal.
