Nike 2014 Spring/Summer Men’s Footwear New Arrivals

Starting off the month of April, Nike graces us with a solid line up of sneakers. The Air Footscape Woven Motion sees a perforated blue nubuck upper coupled with a grey heel and multicolored blue, orange and red woven nylon portion. Adding to the mix, the Lunar Presto features a dynamic Flywire technology with a mesh look. This particular pair takes on a Photo Blue colorway, while tan and yellow detailing help complete the color scheme. Last but not least, the LunarFly 306 comes in two different colorway, black, silver and yellow while the other pair comes in laser crimson, black, and white. Omitting a standard lace-up system for an oversized “JUST DO IT” strap.

Nike Air Max 90 Ice & Jacquard “Infrared”

Prior to “Air Max Day”, Nike has released two new colorway of the Air Max 90 Ice “Infrared” and the “JCRD.” Coming alongside the Air Max 90 Ice “Infrared” features an ice white/cool grey-black-infrared colorway with black geometric prints throughout the shoe. Semi translucent black and infrared overlays and an icy midsole with contrasting inner Phylon cushioning lend the shoe futuristic look. In other hand, the “Jacquard” is a retouch of the original Air Max 90 with an updated woven textile and synthetic upper for a premium fit and comfortable feel.

Nike Cortez “Year of the Horse”

Nike keeps it going with its long run of Year of the Horse releases. Aside from an all-over graphic print of Chinese characters across their blue, red, and grey bases, these shoes stand out because of their use of the new Natural Motion sole underfoot. Up top, the nylon builds are complemented with leather toe caps, Swooshes, and heel tabs, and are strung up with tonal laces. However, all three receive red and gold tongues representing good luck and good fortune for the year.

The Nike Air Raid returns with another colorway in 2014. Rugged outsole intact, the OG parallel color scheme is reprised, as black and grey synthetic leather takes turn up top. Using the classic Air Jordan 1 for inspiration as it drops a trio of mid-top takes on the ’90s soccer shoe. In envisioning a mashup of the Nike Air Zoom GP I and the Air Zoom Flight “The Glove”, the Nike Sonic Flight was born. A product of two Gary Payton signatures, the forefoot shows similarities to the GP I as the rear sports features from “The Glove.” The inaugural colorway is dressed in “Seattle Supersonics” hues of green and white and features a nubuck and leather upper. Nike Basketball heats up with another take on the Oklahoma City Thunder color scheme for the latest iteration of the KD VI. This rendition features an all Anthracite upper, while Total Orange is seen through the swoosh and side panel of the shoe. Coming Soon: Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka “Year of the Horse”

The Chinese New Year has come and gone, but this hasn’t stopped Nike from commemorating the occasion with its “Year of the Horse” edition of the Air Footscape Woven Chukka. Certainly one of the more unique YOTH edition releases presented this year, the shoes feature a glossy printed purple upper accented by yellow panels and a the Footscape defining mustard yellow weave along the sides. Other points include the white midsole portion and thick hairy laces. As with the most YOTH releases, the pair is finished off with an ancient Chinese character on the tongue symbolizing the year in the zodiac.

The Lebron 11 model is back with a vibrant new colorway. This “Hornets” colorway gives the Lebrons a fresh new look using a hexagonal pattern reminiscent of a hornets nest coming in purple and blue. This all new Kevin Durant signature model rocks a graphic-printed pure platinum upper and Swoosh logos in “Night Factor” blue to match the laces. Volt adds some energy over the collar lining and Flywire, while a soft blue hue finishes them off over the midsole below.

Nike ups the level of the level of creativity as it presents this new ICE take on the classic Air Max 90 running silhouette. The model gets its name from the translucent fused into its build. The first of its kind is the Gym Red/Neon colorway, featuring a red synthetic upper with a tonal crystalline pattern of geometric shapes and matching tonal laces. Coming Soon: Nike Basketball 2014 All-Star “NOLA Gumbo League” Collection

For All-Star Weekend, Nike Basketball salutes the unique flavor of New Orleans with the 2014 “NOLA Gumbo League” Collection, featuring the Lebron 11, KD VI, Lil Penny Posite, and Air Up ’14. The Lebron XI, dubbed the “Gator King,” sees graphic textures throughout the shoe inspired by gators, often a symbol of protection in New Orleans culture. Invisible to the naked eye, hand-drawn patterns come to life as the Hyperposite bucket of the shoe glows in the dark. Following this up is the KD VI “Illusion” showcases hand-drawn patterns on the upper emulating Durant’s fluidity on the court. A glow-in-the-dark outsole also represents the spark of KD’s game. Contrasting the glow in the dark look, the Lil Penny Posite features black posite panelling and red accenting and a glow in the dark outsole. Other accenting details include a voodoo print on the panelling, featuring lobster engravings. Rounding out the NOLA themed Nike basketball collection is the Nike Air Up ’14, resembling fresh-out-of-the-pot crawdads with a crustacean-red upper complete with water droplets and a steamy graphic.
