Big Boi for SSUR & CLOT In-store Release Event

With the long awaited reunion of the legendary Hip Hop duo Outkast finally taking place, Big Boi is shining brighter than ever before. He’s recently caught the attention of two of the biggest names in streatwear, SSUR and CLOT, who have gotten together with the rap icon to produce collaborative gear. First up is CLOT, who produced a new line of soccer jerseys, influenced equally by Coachella and Outkast’s “Bombs Over Baghdad.” Following the trend, SSUR produced a capsule collection of snapbacks in black, red and dark green camouflage emblazoned with bold Big Boi and ATLANTA text branding.

To celebrate the release of both collaborations, we will have Big Boi live at our Moreland Ave. location to meet his fans and promote the release. So if you want to meet Big Boi, or pick up any of the collaborative gear, swing by the shop this Thursday, May 8th from 6 – 8 p.m.

Reebok revisits the glory days of ’90s street ball by resurrecting the Blacktop Battleground, a bulky high-top equipped with Hexalite cushioning and Pump technology. The Hardwood Classics collection from Mitchell & Ness is a niche within the storied sportswear label that truly embodies the brand’s motto of being “The Nostalgia Company.” Each of the jerseys is made up from authentic poly textured mesh with two layer tackle twill appliqués. The two produce two versions of the Slam Dunk Hi, the “NY State of Mind” Pack. First released in 1993 for 4 time NBA defensive player of the year Dikembe Mutombo, this adidas Originals basketball shoe is back in the game. adidas presents the iconic ’90s silhouette in a white/teal/orange colorway. The upper is a combination of white vibrant leather nubuck canvas style and features Mutuombo’s iconic shield design logo on the tongue and his number “55” on the ankle.
