The Nike Basketball brand is prepping to release its “Elite” collection, this time dipping into the “Elevate” series from the Nike LeBron XII stash and Nike Kobe X – as it further rounds out other successful releases such as the likes of Nike KD 7 “Elevate.” Utilizing the sky as an inspiration for its based color theme, the LeBron 12 Elite “Elevate” infuse a more tranquil blue tone for its radiant silhouette makeup. Along with its exceptional mesh composition, the shoe also includes a winged composite with splashes of white towards the forefront of the kicks, as well as hints of bright orange on the inner lining and laces for good measure. The Kobe 10 Elite has received a hightop cut, constructed of Nike’s Flyknit technology, supported via Dynamic Flywire. This particular colorway has been equipped with a light grey base, with sections of the sneaker revealing a turquoise lining. A black swoosh stands out among the light colors, while an aquamarine sole provides the cushioning.

Coming Soon: Titolo x Asics Gel-Lyte III “Papercut”

Titolo is back with a brand new collaborative effort atop the ever-classic Asics Gel Lyte III. Named the “Papercut”, this isn’t an homage to the stingingly painful cuts on your fingertips, but instead references the art of Scherenschnitt, or paper cutting. In an homage to the Switzerland boutique’s Zurich shop, this Gel Lyte III references the intricate pattern on the ceiling of the store with a unique insole while the black and white floral pattern extends to the neoprene mesh and side panel striping. The premium black base is in an effort to continue the premium Tiger branding that was recently introduced.

Wish x Matt Senna Presents: “Higher Learning: Study 001” Exhibition Recap

Last weekend we teamed up with Los Angeles based conceptual artist Matthew Senna, known for his Air Jordan sculptures for a one night only event showcasing his first ever gold Air Jordan 1. His work conveys the cultural importance imbued within everyday objects, as well as their ability to symbolize a striving for greatness. With a sold-out RSVP list and a line out the door, the guest who arrived early were given a chance to purchase  85 Wish x Matt Senna Gold Logo T-shirt made for the event. Just in time for the warmer weather, Nike brings out its popular Air Max 90 silhouette with the Ultra BR added on to shoe. Ultra- it simply means that it has a lighter sole unit. BR- means breath, as is in extra perforation, making it perfect for the summer. Nike branding hits are seen on the Nike Swoosh, tongue and heel. The blue Air Max unit sitting underneath, while the outsole appears to be white with blue tips seen on the front and back of the shoe. Finishing off the first round of the playoffs series against the Boston Celtics last night with a 4-0 victory, the Cavs will be that much closer to their playoff dreams. LeBron laced up his LeBron 12 Elite for the first time yesterday, but we’re still hoping he shows Akron some love in the form of this all black tire-inspired LeBron 12 EXT. Featuring a unique upper complete with tire tread like extensions, the icy outsole remains while a Chrome Swoosh mimics alloy rims.
