After ESPN dug deep to reveal that perhaps LeBron James will go on to surpass his Airness, Michael Jordan in terms of hard numbers, Nike plans a roll out of the latest Lebron release. Branded as the “Hazelnut,” the pair is mocked up in a buttery suede exterior hue and contrasted with hits of “Tide Pool Blue” strewn throughout the laces, tongue and interior midsole. A semi-translucent outsole complements the light appeal of the shoe while perforated side panels finish things off.

Nike’s latest womenswear silhouette arrives as a less-than-subtle, WMNS Air Revolution Sky Hi. Mocked up in an amalgam of “Mercury Grey” and “Mine Grey” the shoe gives off an almost military aesthetic and also sees hits of neon green strewen throughout its composition. Nike’s timeless safari print motif is seen emblazoned along the side panels in a tonal iteration while the neon hue runs its way throughout the lace hoops, heel tab and undersole.

Artist designed canvas shoes is the most genuine way to describe our newest brand at Wish, BucketFeet. The Chicago brand, launched in 2011, was created to find an artist to design each special shoe with the overall goal to get original footwear that stands out and support the arts. What they came out with is a completely unique perspective on shoe designing that results in footwear like none on the market. Publish recently executed a well-shot lookbook for the collection as well. As the anticipation has been building off the strength of our latest Trinidad James editorial photoshoot, we’re announcing further information regarding the Wish x Publish Brand “Our Lady” Capsule Collection. The two-piece collection was worked up alongside our good friends over at California-based Publish Brand. The concept centers around the timeless imagery of the Virgin Mary and a variety of Roman Catholic visuals. The custom print and material was mocked up just for Wish and was emblazoned across the exterior of a 5-Panel Camp Cap as well as a Bucket Hat. The perfect summertime steez.

Nike is setting a nice return for its Air Revolution silhouette this month. The retro high top is mocked up in full grain, pure white leather and sees hits of classic University Red strewn throughout. SSUR and it’s various sublabels have built a strong reputation off the back of logo flipping and tongue-in-cheek verbiage. The latest phrase that has been catching fire for the New York street label is the “COCO MADE ME DO IT” motif. Previously mocked up in a white on black version or an Asia-exclusive pink on black version, SSUR introduces an all-black-everything iteration today. Retail for the tee is set at $40 USD and stock is limited.

With the second installment of our ongoing relationship with Publish, we teamed up with the California-based label to curate a taut capsule of headwear options for the Spring/Summer 2013 season. Pulling design tenants from iconic Virgin Mary interpretations, the collection will infuse an all-over print motif onto a small range of hat options. For the collection, we tapped Atlanta-based, Mr. All Gold Everything himself, Trinidad James to be the face of the initial editorial look at the project.

Nike’s celebrated Dunk Hi silhouette recently garnered attention from female clientele as Nike reinterpreted the timeless model into a decidedly heel-esque iteration. Titled the Dunk Sky Hi, the pair featured a contoured reverse heel that adds a feminine touch to the sports silhouette. The latest colorway to arrive drops in a unique “satin” iteration. The Hardwood Classics collection from Mitchell & Ness is a niche within the storied sportswear label that truly embodies the brand’s motto of being “The Nostalgia Company.” Each of the jerseys is made up from authentic poly textured mesh with two layer tackle twill appliqués. The jerseys are rounded out with embroidered felt and year patchwork as well as the expected surname and number hit.
The latest shipment to drop at Wish includes the classic Dominique Wilkins Atlanta Hawks 1986 – 1987 Road Jersey, the Patrick Ewing New York Knicks 1996 – 1997 Jersey, and the Kevin Johnson Phoenix Suns 1996 – 1997 Jersey. mastermind JAPAN has often found a welcome canvas in a wide assortment of adidas Originals pieces. For Spring/Summer 2013, the celebrated Japanese street label re-aligns with adidas Originals for a footwear collection. Employing the Superstar 80s, Rivalry Hi, and the Pro Model CF, each of the shoes is treated in a butter full grain leather upper and positioned atop a white outsole. Perforations and textured midsole sections define much of the design white tonal laces, contrasting foiled mastermind JAPAN branding and white mastermind lace caps finish things off. The adidas Originals by mastermind JAPAN 2013 summer collection will be available soon for a limited time in extremely small quantities.

The Nike Roshe Run GPX model sees a new tiger camo makeover with the arrival of the Nike Roshe Run GPX “Camo Pack”. The lightweight favorite of sneakerheads everywhere showcases a tiger camo throughout the upper, varying in shades of both Black/Mercury Grey and Hero Blue/Atomic Red. A white midsole tones things down a bit underneath with matching thin white laces complete the Roshe delivery.

While Nike has been relying heavily upon the likes of new contenders such as the Flyknit, Flyknit Chukka and Lunar-soled models, it hasn’t forgotten about its classic silhouettes as well. The latest Nike Air Max 1 iteration arrives as a PRM execution and is treated in an amalgam of Team Red and Atomic Red tonal panels. The fairly subdued colorway plays out with a hue that looks burgundy-esque. Everything is tonal throughout the upper as the laces and nylon tongue are juxtaposed with hits of a unique camouflage striping on the toebox, upper ankle and side panels.

Vans Van Doren range has always been about reaching deep into the archive and history of the celebrated 1966 brand and allow those nostalgic designs influence modern day. For Spring/Summer 2013, Vans reaches way back to a previous era in which the brand collaborated with the iconic company, Disney. Pulling upon old designs and a former footwear project, Disney and Vans aligned yet again this season to resurrect a series of iconic Disney characters on the uppers of classic Vans models. The latest arrival sees a trio of drops including two Vans Authentic silhouettes as well as a Sk8-Hi execution. The characters include Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
