adidas Originals reaches into the vault to pull out yet another retro for the Spring 2014 season. The adidas EQT Key Trainer first hit the scene in 1996 on the foot of #1 NFL draft pick Keyshawn Johnson whose influences are seen in the clever key hangtag on the shoe. As a part of adidas’s “EQT” and “Feet You Wear” ranges, the pair sees a white, black and “Hunter Green” color combination with the FYW contoured outsole to support the natural shape of the foot. Jordan Brand will salute Michael Jordan’s brief baseball career with an all-new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Hi OG. Dubbed the “Barons” after MJ’s minor league baseball team, the shoe sees white, black and neutral grey together on an upper that features black toe blocking and Nike Air branding. Pinstripes line the interior and a grey rubber outsole finishes off the look which will be hitting shelves at Wish soon.

Nike Cortez “Year of the Horse”

Nike keeps it going with its long run of Year of the Horse releases. Aside from an all-over graphic print of Chinese characters across their blue, red, and grey bases, these shoes stand out because of their use of the new Natural Motion sole underfoot. Up top, the nylon builds are complemented with leather toe caps, Swooshes, and heel tabs, and are strung up with tonal laces. However, all three receive red and gold tongues representing good luck and good fortune for the year.

Coming Soon: Nice Kicks x New Balance 1600 “Grand Anse”

Perhaps the biggest sneaker blog in the industry, Nice Kicks has teamed up with New Balance for another stylish take on a retro runner. Based on the streetwear favorite CM1600 silhouette, the sneaker features a plethora of details. Maintaining a mostly blue aesthetic as a nod to the Caribbean beach paradise that founder Matt Halfhill hails from, the sneaker features hues of blue in mesh and nubuck, alongside contrasting grey leather overlays. Highlights from the shoe include perforated holes at the mesh areas for added ventilation, the sea gravel-inspired tongue, and the special speckled laces. All of this rests atop New Balance’s standard Abzorb midsole in white with blue accents and blue rubber outsole. Keep your eyes peeled for this collaborative release coming soon.

Next up for Jordan Brand‘s LAB series is the Air Jordan 5LAB3, which takes signature elements from the Air Jordan 5 and applies it to the Air Jordan 3 silhouette. This upcoming drop takes one of the trademarks of the 5 design, the reflective material used on the tongue, and applies it to the entire upper. Accenting the reflective metallic silver upper is the defining trademark of the Jordan 3 line, touches of elephant print. The design is rounded out by subtle hits of powder blue, which can be seen through the translucent sole. Keep an eye out for this shoe hitting shelves soon at Wish.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 10 Retro “Venom Green”

The year of the Air Jordan 10 continues with yet another installment of this rising star silhouette. This particular “Venom Green” model features an all-black base, accented only by a translucent outsole and hints of its nickname’s tone. A black tumbled leather upper is combined with black nubuck panels and a black midsole. An ice outsole holds strips of venom green, which is also seen on the inner lining. Coming Soon: Jordan Future

Jordan unviels the future of the Jumpman brand with the Jordan Future, the latest basketball shoe from the sportswear cornerstone. Influence from the Jordan XI is immediately recognizable in the ribbed outsole colored with both an infrared and “glow” sole. These features are countered by an asymmetric wrap around the lacing at the upper, which looks almost wholly composed of a woven material. Suede hits accent the collar and the tongue of the shoe, adding a slightly casual edge.

This time around, the shoe features a black ballistic mesh and nappa leather upper with a satin-lined collar and footbed. Besides the simple gold diamond emblem on the tongue, finishing touches include a tonal outsole and a convenient heel zip with black pull tabs. Next up for the ever-creative Dr. Romanelli is this upcoming collaboration with footwear label British Knights. Marking a significant comeback for the New York-based brand, the project showcases four new styles that combine performance-level materials with streetwear aesthetics. A couple standouts from the range are an earth tone midtop with ribbed brown leather paneling and a black and white hi-top that incorporates the British flag into the upper. We also had the chance to work with Romanelli and British Knights to develop an exclusive tee to go along with the release, which will only be available through our shop.

In envisioning a mashup of the Nike Air Zoom GP I and the Air Zoom Flight “The Glove”, the Nike Sonic Flight was born.
