For Fall/Winter 2013 Humberto Leon and Carol Lim and their Opening Ceremony imprint have aligned yet again with adidas Originals for a fashion-meets-sport iteration. Perhaps the most fully integrated between the two realms, the collection is being touted as the “BBALL” collection and sees a cheeky all-over print paisley pattern that is crafted from an unconventional Basketball influence. The trio of arrivals from the Top Ten Bball as well as two colorways of the Pro Model Bball. The Pro Model Bball executions see augmented double zippers along the lace vamps as well as patent leather Three Stripes and the customary paisley print.

A.P.C. Denim Returns to Wish

Started by designer, Jean Touitou in 1987, A.P.C. has undoubtedly become one of the most prominent names in fashion today. The French brand’s minimalist design and timeless pieces have combined to bring A.P.C. worldwide acclaim, and keeping them on the forefront of fashion; exemplified by its collaboration with megastar Kanye West earlier this year. It’s been a while since this denim has graced the shelves here at Wish, but we’re glad to say that A.P.C. is back and better than ever.

Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault 2013 Fall/Winter Footwear Collection

Continuing the very successful series of collaborations between Vans Vault and Taka Hayashi, the two entities get together again to create some pieces for the upcoming Fall/Winter season. This time, the two designers decided to take on both a TH Court Hi LX and TH Half Cab LX model. For the Court Hi model, they applied a tropical skull and parrot pattern to the side panels, adding hairy suede on the toebox, tongue, and heel. For the re-working of Steve Caballero‘s classic signature Half Cab LX model, Hayashi and Vans Vault apply batik-inspired prints throughout along with perforated paneling and custom embroidery to premium materials and revamped branding.

Track of the Day: Eminem – Berzerk

After recently releasing a teaser, Eminem is back with the full-length video for his single “Berzerk.” Featuring plenty of cameos from the likes of Rick Rubin, Kendrick Lamar, Slaughterhouse, and Kid Rock, Eminem also shows up in many scenes including one paying respect to the Beastie Boys ‘So What “Cha Want” video. This is the first cut we’ve heard from Eminem’s upcoming project The Marshall Mathers LP 2 releasing November 4, so give it a listen.

Trinidad James “10PC MILD” In-Store Event Recap

Finishing up his string of in-stores to support the latest mixtape, “10PC MILD,” Trinidad James stopped through the shop yesterday for the final stop of his meet and greet appearances. Bringing along a slew of Gold Gang affiliates and donning the latest Fall/Winter 2013 Supreme, Trinidad James held down the crowd for over three hours while taking pictures, shaking hands and signing autographs for those in attendance. In addition to handing out copies of the latest mixtape, James also invited his tour DJ, Genesis to get on the tables to chop and splice up a plethora of Atlanta tracks including many of James’ mixtape exclusives.

#COMINGSOON: The Air Jordan 1 Retro HI OG Black/Gym Red-University Gold

Next up to be released in the recent streak of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG’s is the Black/Gym Red-University Gold colorway. Like the Knicks and the Celtics colorway that have previously released, this release seems to be inspired by one of MJ’s bitter rivals, the hometown hero Atlanta Hawks. Staying true to the Hawks theme, the shoe sees black and red leather on the upper, with superimposed film graphics on the toebox and side panels. White takes its usual place on the midsole, while gold works the swooshes, wings logo, inner lining and outsole. Stay tuned for more info on this release which will be available at Wish.

For Fall/Winter 2013, Greg and the Mishka imprint release a special zebra print snapback branded as the “DA RUMBLE” snapback hat. The Reebok Ventilator Pack

Reebok chooses the beginning of the Fall season to reissue a few classic looks in the form of the Reebok Ventilator model. The Ventilator is a unique model, higlighted in two of the models by the cracked pattern that it displays, simalar to Jordan Brand’s use of the classic elephant print. The third model is comprised mostly of suede and mesh, with a Blue upper thats sits atop a speckled white midsole, adding a unique touch. COMING SOON: Air Jordan 5 Retro Fire Red/White

Jordan Brand has been on a hot streak as of late, and they’re back with a new rendition of the Air Jordan 5. Remaining very similar to the original colorway, this release features a clean all White upper against a large black tongue sitting against a Fire Red midsole, with the Jordan “23” logo pasted on the heel quarter. Look out for this release coming to Wish soon.
