Coming Soon: Jordan Future

Jordan unviels the future of the Jumpman brand with the Jordan Future, the latest basketball shoe from the sportswear cornerstone. Influence from the Jordan XI is immediately recognizable in the ribbed outsole colored with both an infrared and “glow” sole. These features are countered by an asymmetric wrap around the lacing at the upper, which looks almost wholly composed of a woven material. Suede hits accent the collar and the tongue of the shoe, adding a slightly casual edge.

On March 1st, Allen Iverson’s jersey officially rised into the rafters of the Wells Fargo Center. Coinciding with the monumental milestone, his first signature, the Reebok Question has been created in a special “Banner” colorway for the occasion. Featuring a premium construction in suede and leather with the unique touch of mesh jersey material across the upper. As a follow up to last month’s “St. Valentine’s Day Massacre” release, Diamond Supply Co. and Ibn Jasper are on track to release the new “Black Diamond” shoe. This time around, the shoe features a black ballistic mesh and nappa leather upper with a satin-lined collar and footbed. Besides the simple gold diamond emblem on the tongue, finishing touches include a tonal outsole and a convenient heel zip with black pull tabs. Next up for the ever-creative Dr. Romanelli is this upcoming collaboration with footwear label British Knights. Marking a significant comeback for the New York-based brand, the project showcases four new styles that combine performance-level materials with streetwear aesthetics. A couple standouts from the range are an earth tone midtop with ribbed brown leather paneling and a black and white hi-top that incorporates the British flag into the upper. We also had the chance to work with Romanelli and British Knights to develop an exclusive tee to go along with the release, which will only be available through our shop.

On the way from everyone’s favorite nostalgic shoe brand are the new colorway of the Ewing 33 Hi. Consistent with the usual dominant 33 Hi construction, the model sees a “Jelly Bean” green colorway. In envisioning a mashup of the Nike Air Zoom GP I and the Air Zoom Flight “The Glove”, the Nike Sonic Flight was born. A product of two Gary Payton signatures, the forefoot shows similarities to the GP I as the rear sports features from “The Glove.” The inaugural colorway is dressed in “Seattle Supersonics” hues of green and white and features a nubuck and leather upper. In time for the Spring 2014 season, the simplistic canvas silhouette gets an update with another collaborative effort with Taka Hayashi. Simultaneously celebrating this and current sneaker trend, Vans Vault has released three renditions of its toughest models. The Vans Vault TH Derby 2 LX, TH Court Hi LX, and TH Sk8-Mid LX have each been done up in the rough, earthy aesthetic. The Court Hi LX sports a pixel camo pattern composed of small squares in a range of earthy tones across the quarter panels while the Sk8-Mid LX sees a vibrant Chimayo fabric featured on the quarter panels. TH Sk8-mid LX, the pack takes its name from the vibrant Chimayo fabric featured on the quarter panels.
