Comimg Soon: Limited Edt x adidas Consortium Superstar 80v & ZX Flux Pack

Limited Edt and adidas Consortium are teaming up on a collection consisting of the iconic Superstar 80v and the futuristic ZX Flux. Hailing from Singapore, the city-state’s homegrown sneaker retailer looked inwards for inspiration. Taking from the traditional Batik fabric that adorns national garments, the ZX Flux is fully covered in the pattern. Taking on a deep blue hue, the floral print incorporates the orchid and expertly blends in both the adidas Trefoil and Limited Edt’s own logo. The Superstar 80v takes on a much more subtle approach, with the print adorning the tongue. With a black upper, the shoe is adorned with rose gold detailing and an eye-catching rose gold toecap. A special luggage case is included if the shoes are bought together, with each box numbered. The pack will be available tomorrow online only. The Superstar 80v retails for $150 USD while the ZX Flux retails for $130 USD.

Pusha-T-Blog-1Since making the announcement that Pusha T is taking over as the president of G.O.O.D. Music, the MC is choosing not to slow down one bit. First dropping a new single entitled “Untouchable”, and then announcing a new studio album to come soon, next in line for King Push is a follow up to his EQT sneaker he dropped last year. Trading all white for an a new all black rendition, Pusha’s latest features all black Italian leather, with fish scale detailing on the heel. Look for the murdered out sneaker to drop this Friday, 11/27, amongst the rest of the hot sneaker releases dropping the same day.

hanon x Asics Tiger GEL-Lyte III “Solstice”

Hanon-Blog-1As various boutique’s continue to put their spin on the Asics GEL-Lyte III for the 25th anniversary of the iconic silhouette, hanon Shop take their turn on it. The inspiration for this sneaker came from the longest and shortest days of the year, typically referred to as the solstice. The Scottish boutique has applied a luxurious blue azure upper to the sneaker paired with a plush purple. Detailing for the sneaker starts with the 3M underlays, in place to mirror the ever-changing hues during summer nights. Additional detailing comes in the form of a co-branded tongue patch, printed footbed, and a fire detail on the heel. Filling Pieces x Ones Stroke “Black Friday” Collection

The collection features a small set of cut and sew pieces, to go along with two “Low Top Wavy” sneakers. Minimal design is apparent when viewing the monochromatic collection, made up of only black and white. Attention to detail is high on the collection and quality is unmatched. The “Low Top Wavy” sneakers come in a beautiful premium leather and are hand crafted in Filling Pieces Portuguese factories. One of the first things that is apparent with this collection is the clean aesthetic the duo has crafted with this set of sneakers. For the first of the two, the sneaker comes wrapped in leather, with a mix of white and red leather, splitting the sneaker, with the red leather taking the heel. For the latter sneaker, it comes all black, and both are finished with a white sole. For some extra detailing, both sneakers are lined with cheetah print, say “Play Dirty” on the insole, and receive Undefeated branding on the lace tips.

For this pack, the sneaker giant has chosen to highlight three major European cities in London, Berlin, and Paris. The pack goes for a very simplistic but clean aesthetic with its neutral tones and choice of materials. Adidas, BBC, and Pharrell takes us back to 2005 with this new set of Stan Smiths drowning in money signs and diamonds. For the collection, the pair of sneakers come wrapped in a super soft pony hair and lined with premium leather. Both sneakers use the diamond and money sign print that was popularized in 2005. The first of the two comes in black with white print and an icey blue sole. For the latter, Pharrell and company have chose to go with a cream colored upper with black print and a hot pink sole for a pop of color. To those familiar with the culture in 2005, this is most definitely a collection of sneakers showcasing the bright colors popular at the time. The first one comes in Nike’s popular Flyknit material, taking half of the upper for its template. The other part of the upper comes in a highly reflective material perfect for biking, running, or any other night time use. The Flyknit receives a white sole to help complete the sneaker. For the second sneaker of the batch, the Roshe One comes wrapped in ‘Varsity Red’, with a single tone coloring the entire upper and sole. The upper for this one is all mesh, making it highly breathable and lightweight. As always with the Roshe, both feature the super cozy injected unit midsole.

Wish ATL x Vault by Vans Launch Party Recap

This past Friday evening, sneakerheads, creatives, and everyone in-between gathered at Studio No. 7 in Atlanta to help celebrate the launch of Wish’s collaboration pack with Vault by Vans, the Fine Wine & Olives pack. The event, sponsored by both Heinken and Hercules, was a full house and hit amongst those in attendance. Sounds were provided by Two-9’s own DJ Osh Kosh, and helped to create a lively environment. Also a part of the entertainment was the OMG Booth, in which people could take pictures with the whole squad in front of a Wish backdrop. Making use of of five different popular Nike silhouette’s, the pack consists of a Roshe Run, Blazer Mid, Air Max 90, Koth Ultra, and Internationalist. Air-Jordan-1.5-The-Return-1Jordan Brand continues to push out popular colorways that helped to make the brand who they are today, putting the infamous “Bred” colorway on the Air Jordan 1.5. Taking the upper from the Air Jordan 1 and attaching it to the sole from the Air Jordan 1, this release is something the casual or die hard sneakerhead can appreciate. Details on the sneaker consist of a foam tongue, Air Jordan wings on the side panel, and Nike Air branding on the tongue. The “Bred” colorway is made up of a red and black upper, and finished with a clean white sole. Look for these to drop this Saturday, November 21st. Metropolis-Blog-1adidas Consortium, in its 10th year anniversary, comes through with a special Superstar in a Moonrock colorway familiar to the upcoming Yeezy Boost 350. Dressed in a buttery grey suede, the mono-colored sneaker is made up of premium suede and leather. Details consist of a foil-embossed logo on the tongue, and the signature Superstar shelltoe, wrapped in suede. To complete the rare sneaker, Adidas has included numbering on each sneaker, all out of 1000, signifying the amount of pairs made. Look for this sneaker to release on November 13th. Adidas-Originals-Yeezy-350-Boost-Moonrock-4With Yeezy season well underway, comes the third release of the highly sought after Yeezy Boost 350. With the official color code listed as “Agate Gray/Moonrock/Agate Gray”, the latest rendition of the Yeezy Boost 350 seems to be more in line with the tones native to Yeezy Season 1 and 2. Materials for this release are the same as past 350 releases, with the knitted upper and suede detail on the inside of the sneaker. This new Moonrock colorway is an interesting color with its blend of a dull gray and beige. The heel tab from past 350’s is visible, but this time trading the red stripe for an agate gray stripe keeping this sneaker mostly one color tone. Something to take note of is this is not the first Moonrock colored sneaker Yeezy has come out with, as the recently released Yeezy Boost 950 consisted of a Moonrock colorway, but this one will be more suitable for daily use.
