Solebox x adidas Consortium Ultra Boost Uncaged

The adidas Consortium World Tour makes its way to Berlin for its next stop, introducing the Solebox x adidas Consortium Ultra Boost Uncaged. For Solebox’ try at the highly sought after Ultra Boost, they follow Hypebeast steps in uncaging the sneaker. For the upper, they choose to keep it relatively neutral with its hues of grey, pairing primeknit with suede on the heel. Solebox branding is visible on the tongue and heel, while the Consortium logo can also be found on the insole and tongue. For added detail, the Berlin boutique finishes the Boost with red on the lace tips and sole. Look out for the worldwide release coming this Saturday, March 26th.

In the midst of the uproar caused by adidas’ NMD silhouette, the company with 3 stripes has something special up their sleeves with their next Tubular release. Since its inception, the Tubular Doom has garnered a lot of attention. Following the release of the KITH x adidas Tubular Doom’s, and some more neutral releases, we are now presented with the “Special Forces” Tubular Doom. Inspired by classic army fatigues, this edition of the Doom features a tonal beige upper in adidas signature Primeknit material. Capitalizing on the huge success of their NMD silhouette, adidas returns with their next NMD release. For this go-around, adidas keeps it relatively neutral with the grey upper and white Boost midsole, with the only pop of color coming in the form of a red detail on the outsole. The heel guard comes in white rounding out the details for this one. Look for the next adidas NMD Runner to drop this Thursday, March 17th.

Continuing on the huge success of their Tubular models, adidas introduces the next member of the family: Nova. Out to turn heads with their first drop, adidas chooses to dress the first in a single bright red tone. Also included in the drop is a black version of the model, contrasted with an off-white sole. adidas even included a strap on the heel for better support, while neoprene and suede make up the rest of the sneaker. Wood Wood x adidas Consortium Ultra Boost Pack

10 years after their involvement in the adicolor project, Wood Wood has again joined forces with adidas. This time they have hooked up with the Consortium team to rework the UltraBoost and create 2 takes on the innovative silhouette. In preparation for this project they looked deeper into a major discovery in astrophysics made in 2014. That year, scientists announced what they believed to be in the indirect detection of gravitational waves in the afterglow of the Big Bang. As the last untested prediction of Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity, finding gravitational waves proves quite a big deal… An early depiction of this wave pattern was incorporated into the shoes, working together with the Boost and Primeknit technologies to deliver a visually striking design. Alternating blue and orange color highlights are found throughout both shoes – as inserts on the midsoles, colormarkings on the Torsion sole elements, heel straps and extra set of laces for the black men’s version, as well as colored insole branding. For the women’s version we have exchanged the lacing system with an elastic mid panel creating a futuristic slip-on style. The Wood Wood x adidas Consortium Ultra Boost Pack will be available this Saturday, February 27th.

adidas EQT Running Support 93 “Tokyo”

Drawing inspiration from the 1964 Tokyo summer games, adidas presents their “Marathon Series”, utilizing their EQT Running Support 93 silhouette. Originally intended as a signature model for American athlete Robert ‘Bob’ Lee Hayes, this reimagined classic features a bright blue suede upper, along with gold accents for contrast. Completing the model are adidas signature stripes in white, while the Tokyo national flag is visible on the heel.

Nice Kicks has teamed up with adidas Consortium to release an exclusive NMD Runner PK, highlighting the modern utility and nomadic spirit of the recently debuted silhouette. The plush sock-like upper features Primeknit construction and sits atop a full-length Boost cushioning midsole, as distinct block support wedges provide the shoe with a memorable and disruptive look from afar. To celebrate the irreverent heritage of the historic Haight District, the shoe brings about a detailed graphic inspired by vintage concert posters and local art. Utilizing a fully sublimated red and black vivid tie-dye Primeknit upper, the sneaker takes on color while retaining its identifiable initial block-read. In addition to the shoe’s detailed PrimeKnit upper, you’ll also find custom logo badging along the tongue and our wordmark icon running down the bold heel tab. Look out for the official release coming this Saturday, February 20th.

Just in from Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 line, comes a new set of clean sneakers perfect to pair with almost anything in your Spring wardrobe. Coming in simple colorways such as white, black, and blue, the trio of sneakers feature a lot of features notable to the brand and adidas in general. Tubular outsoles and boost technology are amongst these features. The popular Qasa High is back in an eye-catching all white colorway, while the Retro Boost returns in a blue outfit. The ”Tee Time Pack” features the Equipment Running Guidance 93 and an UltraBOOST, combining a timeless original with state-of-the-art functionality as a nod to the classy outdoor sport and sunny afternoons outside the house. The EQT comes with a classic golf shoe influenced upper made from high quality black leather. Add that to the soft buttery brown leather lining and you’ll rethink your definition of cozy once and for all. A perforated finishing with a classic brogue pattern on the tip and hints of black mesh will keep your feet in style in any situation. Just in for the ladies is a new floral pack guaranteed to turn heads. Included in the pack is the women’s Floral Varsity Jacket as well as the Training Floral Jacket. The Training Floral Jacket re-imagines a classic windbreaker with a feminine print and oversize shape. KITH x adidas Consortium Tubular Doom

Kith partners with adidas Consortium to launch their 12-month World Tour campaign, as Ronnie Fieg introduces the Tubular Doom silhouette for the first time. Inspired by the cold unforgiving concrete jungle of New York City where Fieg resides, this collaboration boasts a cement grey Primeknit upper fortified by a charcoal wool cage for warmth. Robust marled elastic straps at the quarter panel and forefoot provide further stabilization and warmth, crucial for fast-paced New York metropolitans during the winter season. The Primeknit upper utilizes a sock-like construction, as the knit textile wraps up to cover the wearer’s ankle. Lastly, Kith’s slogan of Just Us can be seen on the heel guard. This winterized upper sits atop an aggressive Tubular sole unit, which doubles as a midsole and outsole due to its unique form. Two lace options and co-branded footbeds are the final details on this premium execution.

After a hugely successful year in 2015 for adidas and its newly introduced Boost technology, the company with 3 stripes is back with their latest Boost release. This time taking their 90’s EQT runner as the silhouette, they mix old with new by adding Boost technology to the midsole. Keeping with the retro styling of the runner, they even give it a couple retro colorways to match with vintage white accents throughout. The sky is the limit for adidas as the Boost’s rising popularity looks very promising. Look for these to drop this Saturday, January 30th.

With the adidas Tubular Doom growing in popularity, adidas comes through with a Primeknit version of the popular sneaker that is sure to impress. Receiving a grey knitted upper, the sneaker even gets reflective detailing in the knit. The material around the ankle provides a sock-like fit to give the runner an eye catching appeal. Rounding out the sneaker is the cream bottom that pairs nicely with the grey Primeknit. Look for this one to drop Saturday, January 23rd, with a black version to follow shortly.

With the Chinese New Year just a couple weeks away, it is now adidas turn to make their mark on the Chinese holiday. Taking three of their hottest silhouette’s at the moment, the Tubular, Tubular Doom, and Tubular X, adidas gives them a tonal red make up to represent the holiday. All of the silhouettes contain a similar mesh material, while white bottoms complete the midsoles for all three. Gold accents on the lace tips and eyelets help to add detail, while croc skin can be seen on all of them to finish the look. Expect more Tubulars to come in 2016, as this is likely just the tipping point. Look for these to drop Saturday, January 23rd online.

adidas continues to push forward with its success with the Boost technology, and incorporates it into new styles for 2016. Taking classic materials such as Primeknit and combining it with the newer Athleisure, adidas introduces an all new style with the EQT 3/3F15. The sneakers display an immense amount of attention to detail, from their suede accents, to their camo-esq print dubbed melange. Also included in the pack is a knitted top and pants. Both pieces come wrapped in the same melange print and are made of heavy material to keep you warm and cozy during the cooler months of the year. Be on the lookout for the entire pack to drop this Saturday, January 16th.

Just in for the season is a new set of staple pieces from designer Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 from adidas. The collection features the colors (or lack there of) the label has been known for with its black and white aesthetic. With pieces ranging from a greatly oversized graphic tee to a more simple clean black hooded jacket, the collection displays the quality native to the high fashion label. The tees feature a unique illustrated graphic one side, while trading the other for a clean white. All of the pieces can now be picked up online and in-store at our Moreland Ave. location.

Coming Soon: adidas Consortium Yeezy Boost 750 “Triple Black”

As 2015 comes to a close, Kanye West shows no signs of slowing down. A new baby and many sneakers later, we finally see the release of the next Yeezy Boost 750. This is the sneaker fans of the Yeezy Boost have been speculating about for some time now and it is finally coming to fruition. Employing the signature Boost sole and a buttery suede upper, this release receives the monochrome treatment with its all-black look. A change to take note of here is that the round laces on this one come without the detailing from previous Yeezy Boost releases. We may have to wait a little longer to hear music from the rap superstar, but in the meantime you can stay tuned to our social channels for a raffle to be announced soon.

Coming Soon: adidas x HYPEBEAST 10th Anniversary UltraBOOST UNCAGED

Showing no signs of slowing up in their 10th Anniversary year, lifestyle and culture shifter HYPEBEAST reveals one of their biggest projects to date; a collaboration with adidas. Employing the hugely popular UltraBOOST silhouette as their canvas, HYPEBEAST puts a clean twist on the sneaker, removing the cage that hosts adidas branding. Something to take note of here is the use of a revolutionary NFC chip, the first sneaker to make use of this technology. The chip is meant to connect the user to specially created microsite when tapping your phone to the sneaker. Don’t have a phone with NFC capability? Still might be in luck as they’ve included a scannable QR code on the hangtag. Rounding out the sneaker is the knitted material native to the UltraBOOST and the super cozy BOOST sole. Keep your eyes peeled as the minimalistic sneaker will be uncaged on December 18th in limited quantities.

Coming Soon: Pharrell Williams x BBC x adidas Originals Stan Smith “Pony Hair”

Adidas, BBC, and Pharrell takes us back to 2005 with this new set of Stan Smiths drowning in money signs and diamonds. For the collection, the pair of sneakers come wrapped in a super soft pony hair and lined with premium leather. Both sneakers use the diamond and money sign print that was popularized in 2005. The first of the two comes in black with white print and an icey blue sole. For the latter, Pharrell and company have chose to go with a cream colored upper with black print and a hot pink sole for a pop of color. To those familiar with the culture in 2005, this is most definitely a collection of sneakers showcasing the bright colors popular at the time. Look for these to drop this Friday, November 20th.
