Nike switches gears and comes through with a sneaker release that sneakerheads have been waiting for since popularized back in 2012, the Mayfly Woven. Coming in two clean and highly wearable colorways, Nike drops the “Terra Red” and “Black” versions of the silhouette. The woven upper on these sits atop a white midsole, completing the born again Mayfly Woven. Both colorways are now available in-store and online.
Air Max Day may have passed, but that doesn’t mean Nike isn’t finished releasing dope Air Max renditions. Utilizing the Air Max 1, Nike gives it an elephant/safari treatment. Sticking to premium materials with a suede and leather upper, the sneaker is treated with hues of brown, and accented with neon lime. New Balance is prepped and ready for Spring with their latest drop, the 878 “Pastel” Pack. Coming in a couple different pastel hues, the colorways are dubbed “Mint” and “Cornflower Blue”. The upper for these is made up of a mixture of suede and mesh. Light brown accents help to add some contrast throughout both colorways. Originally released back in 2005, the Air Jordan 12 Retro ‘French Blue’ returns in remastered form. Featuring premium tumbled leather uppers and French Blue leather overlay, the ‘French Blue’ colorway is truly identical to the original release. The latest from Nike comes in the form of a unique Air Huarache for the ladies. In a more stripped down, mesh-like material, Nike delivers two new colorways for their “Ultra” version of the Air Huarache, white and total crimson. Belgian designer Raf Simons and adidas come through with another eye-catching Stan Smith, this time in a striking copper upper guaranteed to turn heads. The signature perforated Simons “R” is seen on the side panel, while white branding helps to add a touch of contrast. Just in from Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 line comes a modern running silhouette featuring a knit sock upper and heritage adidas details. Utilizing the Boost technology that has got everyone in a frenzy, the sneaker is about as cozy as anything out there. An interesting mix of colors makes up this one, with its purple upper and lime green accents on the tongue and heel. The Pure Boost as well as the latest from adidas Y-3 can now be picked up online and in-store at our Moreland Ave. location.
The adidas Consortium World Tour makes its way to Berlin for its next stop, introducing the Solebox x adidas Consortium Ultra Boost Uncaged. For Solebox’ try at the highly sought after Ultra Boost, they follow Hypebeast steps in uncaging the sneaker. For the upper, they choose to keep it relatively neutral with its hues of grey, pairing primeknit with suede on the heel. Solebox branding is visible on the tongue and heel, while the Consortium logo can also be found on the insole and tongue. For added detail, the Berlin boutique finishes the Boost with red on the lace tips and sole. Look out for the worldwide release coming this Saturday, March 26th.

Designer Tinker Hatfield has quite the history with Nike, designing some of the brands most popular sneakers in its history. Hatfield’s original sketch of the Air Max Zero looked something like Nike’s next release, a white and yellow version of the silhouette. Since its inception, the Tubular Doom has garnered a lot of attention. Following the release of the KITH x adidas Tubular Doom’s, and some more neutral releases, we are now presented with the “Special Forces” Tubular Doom. Inspired by classic army fatigues, this edition of the Doom features a tonal beige upper in adidas signature Primeknit material.
