Earlier this summer, Jeff Staple traveled down here to Atlanta for a special talk at the High Museum of Art and an exclusive interview with hometown favorite B.O.B. hosted here at Wish. The rapper/musician has been at the top of various music charts since 2008 and continues to create cross-genre music, which can be seen in his new mixtape titled “No Genre Part 2.” Jeff and B.O.B. sit down to talk about his beginnings selling snacks to mainstream recognition and the importance of making mistakes.

Designer Raf Simons presents the Summer 2014 with the adidas Originals Stan Smith. Staying true to its restrained, minimal design, Raf Simons have added some flourish to give the shoe a fresh new look, most notable with the vibrant all orange model. Decked out in orange leather, the shoe features a tonal suede heel patch, perforated “R” logo, and debossed “RAF SIMONS” logo on the back of the shoe.

After the release of the Air Jordan 14 Retro “Thunder”, Jordan brand introduces a new dark grey/hyper pink iteration of the classic silhouette. Exclusively for the ladies, the sneakers shine with solid grey nubuck upper complimented by black and hyper pink highlights, sitting atop white midsoles and finished with black laces. Wish x adidas “Independent Currency” Launch Event Recap

Last week we teamed up with adidas Originals to celebrate the release of our SL Loop Runner “Independent Currency” shoe. Set to sounds from DJ Don Cannon, our Moreland Avenue location was transformed with full-sized adidas window displays and real $2 bills in the floor. With a sold-out RSVP list and a line out the door, the guests who arrived early were given a chance to buy the shoes before anyone else and received a free tee with purchase. Quenching the thirst of the attendees, a full bar was provided featuring beverages by D’usse and Dos Equis. Along with an animated photo booth by Smilebooth and an appearance by the $2 Bill Man himself, Steven Reisman, the store was filled with all of the support the city had to offer. Coming Soon: Solebox x Reebok Instapump Fury 20th Anniversary

Berlin’s, Solebox offers up its patriotic take on the Reebok Instapump Fury for the shoe’s 20th anniversary. Designed by Hikmet Sugoer, Solebox’s principal designer, the shoe features a printed upper using a modified version of German flecktarn camouflage with green suede accents and a black woven fabric heel. Adding to the mix are a black inflatable cage, red accents, and a woven German flag on the tongue.

As we transition from the Sneakersnstuff rendition, Reebok presents its latest collaboration with, Social Status. This Instapump Fury 20th anniversary is mocked up in a teal base with a printed honeycomb graphic and purple tie-dye effect inflatable cage. Completing the look are lifelike hornet graphics on the cage and purple teal gradient midsole. Be on the look out for the “Hornets” coming soon to Wish.

Jordan Brand continues its run of the hybrid collection for the summer season with the new arrivals of the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’99 White & Grey. This range offers some nice color options including a White/Black and Grey/Black colorway that offers a good alternative for those who weren’t able to pick up a pair in 2006. Similar to the Jordan 14, the shoe offers perforated sections on the side panels and heel branding. Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Instapump Fury 20th Anniversary

Swedish retailer, Sneakernstuff, is the latest store to celebrate the Reebok Instapump Fury’s 20th anniversary with their take on the revolutionary silhouette. Using the same color palette as last years collaboration with the Reebok Question, “A Shoe About Nothing,” this Instapump Fury features a heather grey jersey knit upper, a mint inflatable cage and subtle hits of burgundy to complete look.

New Balance 530 90’s “Running White”

A Closer Look Inside The Wish x adidas Originals Installation

Gearing up to introduce our collaboration with adidas Originals, we are celebrating the launch of the SL Loop Runner, “Independent Currency,” with a release event on July 3rd. We are excited to take you on a tour of the new adidas Originals graphic install that commemorates the concept of the sneakers. Featuring the currency theme seen on the pair, the exterior windows and door are decked out with the model name and $2 bill graphics. As you take a step inside, real money covers the glass flooring, details from the sneaker are on the column and the actual shoe is featured in a shadow box. Be sure to swing by and check out the store to get the full experience.

Air Jordan 1 Mid Mens/Womens New Arrivals

Jordan Brand continues to release more iterations of the Air Jordan 1 sneaker. This latest drop features a minimal colorway for the mens, while the ladies shoes see hints of eye-popping colors throughout. First up for the men is the patent leather anthracite upper with tonal branding and subtle perforated detailing around the Swoosh. Sitting atop a simple white midsole, the pair is finished off with an icy blue translucent outsole. The second pair are mocked up in an all black patent leather upper with yellow detailing on the swoosh and branding. As we direct our attention to the ladies footwear, the first pair sees a black leather and suede upper, a pink Swoosh and contrasting branding. The second pair features a white and grey upper and pink detailing on the branding.
