With the release of our Wish x PONY Slam Dunk Hi “Good Fortune” collaboration just days away, our friend Larry Luk has created a special illustration just for the release. Part of an ongoing set of sneaker art illustrations from the Atlanta based graphic designer that has been heavily featured on Nice Kicks, Luk applies his unique geometric style of illustration to the collaborative Slam Dunk Hi. For our latest collaborative project, we’re happy to announce that we’ve teamed up with the one and only PONY to release a limited edition pair of Slam Dunks inspired by the Year of the Horse dubbed “Good Fortune.” Taking a literal approach with the execution, this sneaker features a red and black color-blocked upper mixed with pony hair panels as well as subtle hints of 3M reflective materials to help stand out amongst the crowd. The Wish x PONY “Good Fortune” Slam Dunk Hi will be available in-store via our Moreland Ave. location on April 25 and six pairs packaged in a custom-made wooden box courtesy of Brooklyn’s Good Wood will be raffled off at the launch event this Thursday at Atlanta’s Kai-Lin Gallery.
In celebration of the launch of the fully reflective Air Jordan 5Lab3, we’ve teamed up with ICNY yet again for a matching “5Lab3″ tee. Marked by a reflective outline of the Air Jordan 3 on the front, the tee sports reflective Wish and ICNY branding on the two sleeves.

Next up for the ever-creative Dr. Romanelli is this upcoming collaboration with footwear label British Knights. Marking a significant comeback for the New York-based brand, the project showcases four new styles that combine performance-level materials with streetwear aesthetics. A couple standouts from the range are an earth tone midtop with ribbed brown leather paneling and a black and white hi-top that incorporates the British flag into the upper. We also had the chance to work with Romanelli and British Knights to develop an exclusive tee to go along with the release, which will only be available through our shop.
For the final day of Black History Month, we are giving you another look at our Wish x 10.Deep “PROUD TO BE A PROBLEM” tee collection. Released just two days ago, this collaboration tee honors one of the most profound leaders of all time, Nelson Mandela. To end black history month here at Wish, we have partnered with streetwear staple 10.Deep again this year to create the “PROUD TO BE A PROBLEM” tee. Falling very much in line with our “By Any Means Necessary” collaboration that was delivered this time last year, this tee bears the likeness of the late revolutionary and former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela. This delivery offers two separate tees in black and heather grey with Nelson Mandela’s face on the front, and the words “PROUD TO BE A PROBLEM” on the back atop 10.Deep and Wish branding. A great way to round out your Black History Month, this tee will be available this Wednesday, February 26.

Out of this quote is where our “Roses” capsule was born. To celebrate Black History Month this year, we chose to honor figures who not only inspired change in American history, but also are still alive today. Through a capsule consisting completely of graphic t-shirts, we elevated the likenesses of Muhhamad Ali, Maya Angelou, Bill Cosby, Stevie Wonder, and Spike Lee, representing the arenas of sports, poetry, television, music, and film. To bring our ideas to life, we enlisted local Atlanta artist Markeidric Walker to illustrate each of our honorees. Releasing one of our “Roses” tees per day, the capsule release begins today.

As a proud member of the Little Five Points Community, we are always looking for ways to support our neighborhood. For this reason, we collaborated with the Los Angeles based Joyrich to produce a capsule that shines light on Little Five Points and Atlanta. Dubbed the “Rich Five Points” capsule, this collection does a great job of encapsulating the essence of both brands while baring the branding of each. Just for the release, Joyrich came all the way out from the West Coast to help us put on a pop-up shop in honor of the release. A good time to view and shop the capsule, the in-store release event that took place during the day was followed by a celebratory party at Club Halo at night. Rooted in the desire to pay homage to our neighborhood of Little Five Points, we collaborated with Joyrich, a brand that’s just as unique as the Atlanta town that we call home. Our collaborative efforts with headwear imprint New Era continue into the 2013 Winter season with the release of the Wish x New Era Tie Dye Pom Beanie Collection. Our “A Night With Jordan Brand” event with Senior Global Design Director Jason Mayden and Director of Energy Footwear Gemo Wong that took place this past Friday night was not only a special night for us here at Wish, but also the city of Atlanta, and all of our supporters. Attendees got more than what they bargained for, as the night was not only about sneakers and fashion, but also about career goals, character building, and life lessons from the Jordan Brand Senior Directors. However, the night consisted of more than just presentations from Mayden and Wong, who after their talks were able to have one-on-one conversations with guests and even critique several creative portfolios. Perhaps the most fascinating part of the night came as ten raffle winners were selected to preview future Jordan Brand models and a select two had the priveledge of designing their own custom pair of Nike i.D. sneakers with Mayden and Wong. With drinks sponsored by Mountain Dew, the night also saw a one-of-a-kind limited sneaker collection by Tennesee native Joseph Privitte, a special appearance by rapper Killer Mike, and a custom pair of Wish Air Jordan 3 Retro Doernbechers.

It hasn’t been long since we introduced the up-and-coming functional streetwear brand ICE COLD NY to our Atlanta storefront. But in the passing time, the New York brand born out of a legitimate need of a cyclist to be seen at night has now become a success story, gaining worldwide renown and pulling off collaborations with some great brands.
For the 2013 Fall/Winter season, we had the pleasure of joining with ICE COLD NY to create a brand new piece for the colder weather. The Wish x ICE COLD NY 3M Windbreaker is a collaborative effort that takes the minimal and reflective elements that have come to be expected from ICE COLD and applies it to a functional windbreaker. With reflective hits along the rim of the hood, wrists, and the respective brand logos across the front and the back, this piece is ready to wear for any serious biker, or casual streetwear connoisseur.
The Wish x ICE COLD NY 3M Windbreaker will be available on the online shop and via our Moreland Ave. location on Wednesday, November 6 at Noon.
In celebration of The Sound Table and Yardbird HK’s One Night Only Atlanta Pop-Up Restaurant, Wish has aligned with the duo to curate an extremely limited run of T-shirts. Building upon the same graphic chicken design from Yardbird HK’s Cody Hudson-petitioned logo, the T-shirt is emblazoned with understated logo hits below the oversized back hit graphic. Branded on the interior neck with a special One Night Only insignia, the T-shirts have been crafted in an extremely limited run of only 50 units and will be offered for sale on October 19, 2013, through exclusively at the two seatings.
