New Balance Made in England MB1500MRG Purple/Orange “Virginia Tech”

New Balance steps into the college football season correct with the introduction of the Made in England MB1500MRG. While it hasn’t been officially branded as such, the colorway is an all-but-subtle nod to Virginia Tech in its execution and interplay of purple and orange. Situated atop a pure white midsole and black undersole, the trademark “MADE IN ENGLAND” text is seen emblazoned across the tongue. Two pairs of laces are included in the set – both purple and orange – while the interior lining and various accents throughout see contrasting hits of orange.

Women’s New Balance NB WL501 MG – Now Available

New Balance drops off a quality women’s shoe in the form of the New Balance NB WL501 MG. The classic 501 is given a tonal colorway for Fall ’13 with a mix of suede and mesh for the upper sitting atop a grey outsole. Rounded out by the inspirational phrases “Be Excellent” and “Stay Balanced” printed on the insole, this new arrival is now available at Wish.

Coming Soon: Herschel Supply Co. x New Balance 2013 Fall Collection

Following their first collaborative effort earlier this Spring, Herschel Supply Co. and New Balance link up again to produce a new line of footwear for the Fall season. The Herschel Supply Co. x New Balance 2013 Fall Collection features both the H710 hiking boot and 420 running shoe models in three different colorways. On the materials side, the brands decided to implement acute fabrics seen on Herschel Supply Co. bags including ripstop nylon, textured suede and reflective tape, juxtaposed by a distinct paisley print at its inner lining. Stay tuned for further release information, all three styles will be releasing soon through our Moreland Ave. Shop as well as through our Online Store.

New Balance 574 New Arrivals – Burgundy & Grey

After hitting us with its “Propaganda Pack” earlier this week, New Balance is back with some new arrivals in the 574 sillhouette. A calmer alternative to this week’s previous releases, New Balance reworks its popular 574 model in a calm Burgundy and Grey makeup. Complete with suede and mesh construction, these pairs offer a perfect complement to each other in terms of colorway. A nice addition for any New Balance fan, these shoes are now available at Wish retailing at $75 USD each.

New Balance 2013 Spring/Summer “Propaganda Pack” Now Available

New Balance is back and making a statement with the arrival of its 2013 spring/summer “Propaganda Pack.” Inspired mainly by the bold colors used in World War I era propaganda, this pack sees the New Balance 1600, 999, and MT580 models remixed in distinct red, black, and grey colorways. Each one of the pairs also comes complete with a limited edition, hand-sketched rendering of the model in a mock propaganda poster, similar to the ones displayed during the time period that inspired the collection. WEST NYC x NEW BALANCE MT580 Alpine Guide Edition- 10.13.12

After much hype and speculation, the pictures and details of the WEST NYC x New Balance MT580 “Alpine Guide Edition” have finally surfaced. The shoe is based on owner Lester Wasserman’s love of the outdoors and has a 90′s vibe to it.  Taking cues from both 90’s alpine and ski apparel, as well as colors that are mainstays amongst outdoor enthusiasts. The New Balance MT580 served as the perfect canvas for this theme and will be available at our Moreland Ave. location this Saturday October 13th. Check out some images of these gems below:

The “White Collar Workforces” have just arrived at Wish! Part of the second installment to the Burn Rubber workforce pack. Burn Rubber, a sneaker boutique based out of Detroit, has teamed up with New Balance for the MT850 “Workforce Pack”. The MT850 has been a huge success in the Asian markets and Burn Rubber wanted to bring some of the hype over to America. The two shoe pack was inspired by the hardworking men and women of Michigan in the blue and white collar work forces. Burn Rubber, a sneaker boutique based out of Detroit, has teamed up with New Balance for the MT850 “Workforce Pack”. The MT850 has been a huge success in the Asian markets and Burn Rubber wanted to bring some of the hype over to America. The two shoe pack was inspired by the hardworking men and women of Michigan in the blue and white collar work forces. The first part of the pack dropping is the “Blue Collar” edition featuring a tonal Grey suede and mesh upper, a gum outsole and flashes of 3M reflective foxing. The New Balance MT580 “Blue Collar” Workforce will be available February 15th at our Moreland Ave shop. No pre-orders or holds will be allowed in advance. Phone orders will be welcome after 5:00pm EST on the day of the release by calling extension #2 at 404.880.0402
