adidas Originals ‘EQT Oddity Luxe Pack’

Oddity-Luxe-Blog-1

adidas Originals unveils the ‘EQT Oddity Luxe Pack’ – a continuation story around the Oddity design concept revealed in previous years. The adidas Oddity heritage has become a highly-anticipated design concept, hacking traditional design principles through unexpected material and color mash-ups on classic silhouettes. The concept was born out of the development of first-round product samples using scrap materials produced in adidas factories, often featuring different colors and textures. The 2016 ‘EQT Oddity Luxe Pack’ is a refreshed luxe spin on the Oddity design concept, featuring a neutral color palette and a mash-up of premium leather textures. The ‘EQT Oddity Luxe Pack’ is comprised of both a EQT Running Support 93′ for men and a EQT Racing shoe for women. Both silhouettes feature an off-white upper of chalk and tan with copper accents, while elevating the design concept through a premium material mix of snake, ostrich and croc skin leather textures. Look for adidas latest to drop Friday, May 6th.

Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit

Presto-Flyknit-Blog-1

Originally released in 2000, the Nike Air Presto became famous for its irreverent advertising, alpha sizing and ahead-of-its-time sock-like construction. In the decade and a half since, the shoe has transcended performance running to become a sport style fixture. Now, 16 years after its introduction, Nike is updating the icon with new materials and technology. The result is the Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit. The shoe’s signature one-to-one fit becomes even more profound through the use of Flyknit in the upper, which delivers stretch in the collar, ventilation in the toe and tongue, and support in the heel and underneath the toecap. In another first for the Presto franchise, the Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit features a mid-cut collar, which lends a modern aesthetic. The TPU cage is reengineered to fit the Flyknit upper, while the ultra tooling with rubber in high contact wear areas delivers improved comfort and durability. Look for both mens and women’s colorways to release this Thursday, May 5th.
