Building anticipation for his upcoming Love in the Future album, John Legend releases a track from the project called “Made to Love.” Word on the street is that Kanye West had his hand in production for this album, which is apparent in this track, which can be heard below:
On June 15, 2013, the sneaker community of Atlanta took a pause as individuals from all walks of life, ethnicity, and income descended onto Dominique Wilkins Gym on Campbelton Road for Sneaker Con Atlanta 2013. Everyone from novice sneakerheads to downright footwear aficionados were in attendance hoping to either flip their pairs or discover a gem that they missed the first time around. Vendors sold everything from plastic wrapped exclusive sneaks to socks and jewelery as individuals walked around boldly lifting their pairs in the air, showing off their inventory in hopes of making that big profit. Most of the sneakers there having released at Wish at one time or another, it was great to see the community come together in such an event as this. This was our first time covering Sneaker Con, but it will surely not be our last. And after looking at some of the photos below, you’ll understand why.

So take a look below at a recap of the event below:

Just in time for your summer fit, we’ve just dropped a small capsule collection of Spring/Summer 2013 accessories. Building on the Wish “S-Man” New Era 9FIFTY Snapback Hats that also just released, the accessories range includes two iterations of mid-calf ribbed socks as well as a 6-pack sticker and pin set. The entire collection just dropped and is now available in-store as well as online in limited quantities.
The Air Jordan 1 is a model that seems to withstand the test of time. It seems that regardless of what colorway, what retro and what precise silhouette (Mid or High) the model is just a mainstay. For Spring/Summer 2013, Air Jordan rolls out a super clean and minimal execution of the Air Jordan 1 Mid in White/White and Cool Grey. As expected the ultra-minimalist shoe sees tonal white throughout the entire upper, midsole, outsole and interior lining with a subtle hit of Cool Grey seen along the upper tongue. White stitching throughout the shoe rounds things out. The shoes are priced at $105 USD and are now available in-store through our Moreland Ave. location.
The iconic S-Man makes its return! With summer gearing up already, we’re releasing a four-pack of New Era 9FIFTY Snapback “S-Man” hats. Each of the caps boasts the iconic New Era construction with the 9FIFTY silhouette adding the traditional straight-sided snapback brim. The S-Man motif rests on the front panel of the hat in heavy floating embroidery while the New Era flag and Wish logo are seen on the side and reverse of the hat respectively. Offered in four colorways – Black, Navy Blue, Navy/Scarlet Red and Scarlet Red, all four are now available in-store and online in extremely limited quantities. Retail is $35 USD each.
It would be an understated to say that Kanye West has been making waves leading up to his anticipated June 18th drop of Yeezus. Be it off the strength of the religiously controversial title, or the socially controversial “New Slaces” lyricism or the widely discussed global marketing projection initiative, Mr. West seems to be a role. The latest footage of Ye is captured during an unscheduled session for his European fans while touching down at Design Miami/Basel in Switzerland. Yeezy hits the track “New Slaves” direct over the mic acapella style for all those who were in attendance. It looks like #yeezyseason is really beginning to heat up this summer – stay tuned for the official album drop next week.
“Some legends bring the crowd to their feet, but the legendary Dee Brown brought the crowd to his. Literally, in the 1991 Slam Dunk Contest, Dee paused to pump up his Reebok Pump Omni shoes, and ultimately made the most iconic dunk of all time – the “No Look” dunk. On one of the greatest moments in the game, Dee says, “Being a late entry for the Slam Dunk contest that year, I knew I had to get the crowd on my side, to get them excited. What I did next is history. To this day I’m identified with one shoe and one shoe only – the Reebok Pump.” On June 14th, Reebok Classic brings back Dee Brown’s iconic Pump Omni OG and will be available at Wish in-store and online for $115 USD.

We took the pairs outside of the shop this morning to get a closer look at the executions, materials and the trio of colorways that the duo have created. From the supple suede uppers and the gum outsole, the shoes strike a nice balance between the graphic-driven nature of Pusha T’s Play Cloths imprint, with the iconic running silhouette and history of the Saucony Shadow 5000 model.
