Taking design cues from MJ’s Ferrari-based 14th signature sneaker and merging them into his first,the Ir Jordan 1 Retro ’99 recieves an all-black, sport blue, infrared and white colorway for the summer. While its silhouette features everything that makes the AJ1 so iconic, this model presents a bevy of AJ14 inspirations, including tumbled leather side panels with perforations, suede at its toe box and eye-lids, and signature AJ14 heel panel.

The Nike Barkley Posite Max looks to be making a return in 2014 as we get a first look at a new Premium-level model dubbed “USA.” The latest installment arrives via from the form of the American flag inspired theme that is aptly touted towards the “stars and stripes.” Featuring stars perforations on the upper, replacing the circular holes associated with the Nike Air Max CB ’94. The sockliner also features the “USA” graphic seen in the Air Force 1 and Blazer Mid releases.

Etonic Akeem “The Dream”

Following in the footstep of his Hall of Fame peers, Hakeem Olajuwon is returning to the sneaker game with his original endorser, Etonic. This partnership will see the relaunch of many heritage models from both the basketball and running categories, namely the release of Olajuwon’s “Akeem the Dream” signature sneaker. The mid ’80s model relies on a hightop cut, set to white leather and accented by red and yellow accents, matching the motif of the Houston Rockets at that time. The Air Jordan 6 Retro returns in a new colorway that pays tribute to the Jordan Spizike. Featuring a mix of smooth and tumbled premium leather in a rich shade of red accross the upper with black and green accents, all of which tie back to the Spizike’s original colorway. The shoe’s inner lining also features the same Jordan print as that of the OG Spiz’ike. Roundingout the design is the shoe’s contrasting white midsole and icy blue outsole.

After being previewed a few months ago, we now have a better look at Jordan Brand’s latest model, The Jordan Shine. Featuring a red and black premium leather in a woven construction for the upper, the model has a glossy finish teamed with tonal rugged midsole. To represent a more premium aesthetic, the coarser woven pattern is broken up by a smooth toecap and heel while hits of gold and red on the laces emphasizes the upscale mix.
