Jordan Brand‘s 30th Anniversary has cashed in on some rare Michael Jordan memories. The Air Jordan 8 is coming into prominence for its own 23rd Anniversary and the Jumpman will nod at the Chicago Bull’s first trio of championships with the Air Jordan 8 “Three Peat”. Featuring a white perforated leather on the side panels coincide with contrasting black while the usual terrycloth circular logo is replaced with a unique hoop scribble to reference the Larry O’Brien trophy. The accent colors of Infrared 23, Bright Concord, and University Yellow all represent a fallen foe during the first three-peat. The Air Jordan 8 Retro “Three Time’s a Charm” drops on October 24 at our Moreland Ave location.

Nike Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 “Croc”

Nike’s famed Air Force 1 silhouette has seen nearly every make up out there, and theres no stopping Nike with this new rendition of the classic sneaker. For this go-around, Nike has chosen to wrap the sneaker in a premium “Croc” leather. The upper of the sneaker comes in military green, while the midsole recieves a clean white treatment, and the shoe is finished off with a gum sole. The croc embossed leather looks like it could could have straight off a crocodiles back, making this Air Force 1 unlike any one you’ve seen before.

New Balance is back with the latest iteration of their 580 silhouette. Consistency has been key with New Balance as of late, and this release is no different. Coming in both “Brick” and “Black” colorways, both sneakers feature an upper with mesh and premium suede. The outsole is made up of rubber and the sneaker features a cozy revlite midsole. Ever since the release of the Fragment Design x Air Jordan 1 release that shook the sneaker game up last year, sneakerheads everywhere have been itching to get their hands on a pair. For that reason, Jordan brand is back with with the next release of the Air Jordan 1.5. Being dubbed by some as the “Reverse Fragment” because of the reversed colorway, the sneaker takes the upper from the Air Jordan 1, and meshes it with the Air Jordan 2’s sole, making it a super clean hybrib of the classic sneaker. Another trio of companies come together for a wild collaboration taking PUMA’s popularized Blaze of Glory silhouette and turning it into something unique to the style. The “Bloodbath” sneaker, inspired by the unfortunate shark attacks in New Jersey in 1916, and also a nod to the movie Jaws, has an upper wrapped in in a bloody red upper, with tones of aqua blue throughout. A white midsole and white speckling finishes this dope collaboration off. Look for the sneaker to release this Saturday, October 10th.

Nike continues its rapid releases of Air Force 1 Retro’s with this High top which is a nod to the Chinese New Year and China’s huge impact on the Nike brand since the 1980’s. Dubbed the “Nai Ke”, the always beautiful Nike “Gym Red” color wraps the sneakers upper, while a white suede fills the Nike swoosh. On the heel of the shoe you will notice lettering in Chinese which finishes the Chinese inspired sneaker nicely. China’s impact on the Nike brand has been huge over the year and the Air Force 1 silhouette has always been a major force in Chinese markets, so it was only right Nike dedicates this one to a country that truly embraced it.

Next up in the line of Jordan’s remastered programs comes this OG colorway of the ever-so-popular Air Jordan 1. Paying homage to Jordan’s college colors, the “UNC” colorway of the Air Jordan 1, this is one sneakerheads or simply AJ1 fans won’t want to miss. The Tar Heels inspired look is made up of a powder blue paired with a clean and simple white. As always, you’ll see the signature Air Jordan wings on the sides and Nike Air logo on the tongue. Its been three decades since its original release, so be sure to secure your pair when it releases.
