This year’s holiday lineup has been one of the best to say the least as Diamond adds to the hype bringing back the Jasper silhouette for its second colorway. The Diamond Supply Co. Ibn Jasper “Snow Leopard” takes on a pony hair construction that features leopard print throughout the upper. The Jasper silhouette is paired with silver eyelets which tie into the Silver zipper that runs along the heel, as well as waxed laces and a Grey midsole. Be on the look out for the Diamond Supply Co. Coming Soon: Reebok 25th Anniversary The Pump OG “Black”

Internationally known in the basketball world in 1989, the Reebok Pump OG returns for its 25th anniversary this year with the Black rendition. Incorporating a premium leather upper, the sole also features black and grey color, all which atop a white midsole and orange hits of labeling, evoking the atmosphere of street ball. Coming Soon: Black Scale x adidas Consortium 2014 Winter Collection

adidas is continuing its onslaught of epic collaborations by teaming up with Black Scale for a new winter capsule collection. The capsule features two different silhouettes; the adidas ZX 700 and the adidas forum. Drawing directly from the image that was released last month to tease the sneakers, both shoes feature a colored camo print. While the adidas ZX 700 contains contrasting colored camo across the entire model, the high top forums only make use of the print along the toe area. In addition to teaming up with adidas, Black Scale has released joint shoes with Timberland and Gourmet in 2014.

During the ’90s, the game of basketball experienced rapid globalization. To illustrate the past and present, Air Jordan utilizes the Japanese Manga comic series: Slam Dunk, as a muse. The limited Slam Dunk edition has an interesting take on the iconic silhouette. An all-red upper features the iconic imagery fans of the 31-volumed manga series have grown to love. Coming Soon: The Good Will Out x ASICS Gel-Lyte V “Koyo”

Inspired by the color of the Japanese autumn leaves, The Good Will Out teams up with ASICS for its latest rendition of the Gel-Lyte V “Koyo.” The word Koyo is to the Japenese autumn what cherry blossoms are to Spring. The design uses three shades of dark red standing for the many red tones of the autumn leaves. Another color is bright yellow, which originates from the yellow edges seen on fallen leaves. The red upper is made of premium nubuck leather while the heel feautures a structured leather panel with a haptic quality of a leaf. Inspired by an Ice Cream Parlor that has stood the test of time, originating in the mid 1940s, Borden’s Ice Cream is the last of it’s kind. Hoping to pay homage to one of the oldest establishments in the community, Sneaker Politics teams up with Reebok in its latest buttery rendition of The Pump. Aiming to capture the original logo of their hometown Parlor, the upper consist of creamy suede with red and blue accents. ‘Sneaker Politics’ is etched on the suede heel tab with ‘Last Of A Dying Breed’ on the perforated leather tongue. Coming Soon: Converse Jack Purcell “Motorcycle Jacket” Collection

Converse introduces a new premium set of the Jack Purcell this fall, inspired by the traditional leather motorcycle jacket. Featuring two monochromatic iterations of the classic canvas sneaker. A all-black and all-white make up the collection while, the mid-top version of the classic Jack Purcell receives premium leather across the entire upper, even on the midsole and iconic toe cap. ASICS and Onitsuka Tiger have teamed up with UK sneaker retailer Offspring for a desert-inspired pair of running sneakers. ASICS’ Gel Lyte V has been given a sandy suede upper contrasted with hits of rich burgundy and azure, while Onitsuka Tiger’s Shaw Runner sneakers have been decked out with a navy, white and tropical green-inspired color-up that reflects the cold chill of desert nights.

Upon the success of the “Detroit Player” Pro Models, Big Sean has been greatly reconized by his break thorugh efforts into the world of fashion and footwear. Approching the D-Towns third launch, the Big Sean x adidas Originals Metro Attitude is influenced by his recent recordings in Hawaii. Feautring a floral theme, accented with a snakeskin pattern around the collar, a lion patch is also seen on the backside of the tongue. Toronto’s premier sneaker boutique has collaborated with New Balance to produce the Capsule x New Balance MT580 “Tux.” Celebrating its Canadian roots, this unique project from Capsule is inspired by the “Canadian Tuxedo”, which is an unnoficial label for an all-denim suit. This New Balance MT580 embodies the trend by utulizing a blue jean upper, with red branding also denim. A darker shade of denim is seen on the tongue and heel, while a white midsole, a gum bottom, and a brown leather tongue patch detail the shoe. Be on the look out for the “Tux” coming soon at Wish.

Coming Soon: Reebok Question Mid “First Ballot”

Reebok is back with a new colorway of the Question Mid refrencing Allen Iverson’s potential induction into the NBA Hall of Fame as a first ballot inductee. The Question Mid “First Ballot” features jacquard woven black textile across much of the upper, along with black leather, red full-grain leather on the toe, and a black open-cell mesh tongue. Red piping and logos, and blue branding and eyelets round out the look for the upper and complement the exposed DMX cushioning in the midsole. Rounding out the look are silver speckles dotting the crisp white midsole.

The Nike Barkley Posite Max looks to be making a return in 2014 as we get a first look at a new Premium-level model dubbed “USA.” The latest installment arrives via from the form of the American flag inspired theme that is aptly touted towards the “stars and stripes.” Featuring stars perforations on the upper, replacing the circular holes associated with the Nike Air Max CB ’94. The sockliner also features the “USA” graphic seen in the Air Force 1 and Blazer Mid releases.

Etonic Akeem “The Dream”

Following in the footstep of his Hall of Fame peers, Hakeem Olajuwon is returning to the sneaker game with his original endorser, Etonic. This partnership will see the relaunch of many heritage models from both the basketball and running categories, namely the release of Olajuwon’s “Akeem the Dream” signature sneaker. The mid ’80s model relies on a hightop cut, set to white leather and accented by red and yellow accents, matching the motif of the Houston Rockets at that time. With its entire build dressed in all black, a dash of luxury can be seen by the leather detailing on the toe and heel with black waxed laces adding to the finishing touches.
