Converse x NEIGHBORHOOD (NBHD) Collab

Converse and Neighborhood have collaborated again continuing the popular motorcyclist motif from previous collections.

This collection features various pieces of sporty apparel as well as new All Star Chuck Taylor ‘70 and Jack Purcell models. These pieces connect Shinsuke Takizawa‘s creative vision with the classic American brand.Both the Chuck Taylor All-Star 70’s and the Jack Purcell come primarily black-out, with some crafty detailing. The All-Star 70’s come equipped with an oversized velcro strap on the forefoot with “Craft With Pride” & “Shift” referencing both the Converse mantra and “bike-life.”

The Jack Purcells, sticking to the theme, sport blacked-out detailing and white lettering on the midsole that reads “NBHDCNSJP.” The combination of a suede and leather upper adds some lux flair to the shoe, while a Kanji character for “resistance” on the rear of the shoe highlights the theme of the collection. Hailing from Trenton, New Jersey, Anwar “Carrots” Washington in 2007 founded Peas & Carrots International, an emerging streetwear brand and creative collective. Known for his dynamic approach to aesthetic both in personal style and creative output Anwar has become an entrepreneurial leader of the next generation of Los Angeles creatives and fashion icons of street culture and music. Pharrell x BBC x adidas Originals ‘Palm Tree’ Collection

Pharrell Williams returns in collaboration with adidas Originals and his own Billionaire Boys Club to create a range of apparel and footwear that would fall right at home in a tropical climate. Outfitted in a bright palm tree print, the collection comes complete with a tee and shorts to match, as well as a pair of Stan Smiths. The iconic Stan Smith receives a bright green color treatment with an off-white midsole, while the other comes dressed in bright red with a red midsole to match. Don’t sleep when the entire collection drops this Saturday, June 25th.

Trapstar London x PUMA ‘White Noise’ Capsule Collection

PUMA and Trapstar have reworked the classic PUMA Disc. The Disc x Trapstar White Noise features the Trapstar signature ‘white noise’ graphic design all over the PUMA silhouette making this iteration an ultimate key look ahead of the of the main collection. In the same ‘white noise’ print, another piece being released is the Trapstar Leadcat. The PUMA football-inspired slide is a trend led style this year, now elevated as a street wear must have, with the addition of the Trapstar print.

The PUMA x Trapstar Football kit is a complete clash of inspiration, merging functional sportswear with underground inspired notes. It is produced in the same soft engineered jacquard with rich dry-cell technology as any other football tee, replacing the logo’s with Trapstar emblems. The ‘white noise’ print is featured in inserts, linking in with the footwear to bring the three pieces together as a strong capsule range that gives us a taste of what is to come from PUMA x Trapstar. Introducing Les Deux Spring/Summer 2016 Collection

The first ideas for the fashion brand, Les Deux were created in 2009 in Copenhagen. The identity in the name “Les Deux” is from the philosophy of two guys who were raised in two different cultures with completely different backgrounds. Two guys created a niche in the market where they combined the preppy with the street, and let it become simple, but yet unique. The brand has grown from one simple tee shirt, which was the only item the two guys could afford in the beginning, now to more than 100 items in different colours. For their Spring/Summer 2016 collection, the Danish label sticks to their minimal aesthetic with a range of clean tees, sweaters, and hats. Daily Paper 2016 Spring/Summer Collection

Identity remains an important factor at Daily Paper that always finds a way to incorporate the founder’s Dutch and African heritage in its collections. For the artworks used on the patches and prints of this collection Daily Paper looked into the nomadic lifestyle of the Maasai tribe for inspiration. For this sportswear inspired collection the brand utilized a variety of technical fabrics such as water repellent nylon, lightweight polyester and technical cottonmixes to provide a mix of formal and casual looks. A variety of bomber jackets are matched with knitted bottoms, while a selection of reflective jackets complete the looks of this season.
