The Hardwood Classics collection from Mitchell & Ness is a niche within the storied sportswear label that truly embodies the brand’s motto of being “The Nostalgia Company.” Each of the jerseys is made up from authentic poly textured mesh with two layer tackle twill appliqués. The jerseys are rounded out with embroidered felt and year patchwork as well as the expected surname and number hit.

For our latest collaborative project, we’re happy to announce that we’ve teamed up with the one and only PONY to release a limited edition pair of Slam Dunks inspired by the Year of the Horse dubbed “Good Fortune.” Taking a literal approach with the execution, this sneaker features a red and black color-blocked upper mixed with pony hair panels as well as subtle hints of 3M reflective materials to help stand out amongst the crowd. The Wish x PONY “Good Fortune” Slam Dunk Hi will be available in-store via our Moreland Ave. location on April 25 and six pairs packaged in a custom-made wooden box courtesy of Brooklyn’s Good Wood will be raffled off at the launch event this Thursday at Atlanta’s Kai-Lin Gallery.

10.Deep 2014 Spring “Internationally Known” Collection

Though definitely a product of New York, 10.Deep has emerged as a worldwide presence over the years. Celebrating its international status, the brand looked to the flowing Phoenician abjad, intricate Byzantine brocade fabrics and vintage 20th century American travelogues to build the second installment of its Spring 2014 collection. Accordingly, this diverse collection features map motifs that span California to Kolkata, rich geometric tapestry prints in earthly-dyed colors, and vivid floral designs. adidas Originals presents a couple of nice new releases for Spring tied together with faux fish accents. The first of the pair is a hybrid compilation of everything ’90s basketball, the adidas Streetball. Now coming in a fresh colorway with a Chalk/Black combination, this shoe is twisted into a premium silhouette consisting of multi-layered paneling, complex color blocking, mixed leather, nubuck, and faux fish skin together in a range of colors and texture. Next up is the Torsion C.U. seen here in black, the rugged silhouette pairs a slip-on sock-like upper of mesh and neoprene with black nubuck, leather overlays for added durability, and a faux fish hit on the heel. A solid white rubber outsole provides traction while adidas’s patented Torsion technology offers support and stability.

This retro release sticks close to the original design with its wavy leather and synthetics layered atop black mesh.
