Cam’ron x Reebok Ventilator Supreme ‘Purple Haze’
Insprired by hip hop giant Cam’ron’s 2004 album “Purple Haze”, comes this colorful collaboration with Reebok. Dressed in hues of purple, pink, blue, and aqua, the sneaker is everything you would expect from a collaboration with Cam’ron. The rappers face is seen on the insole, while the sneaker is wrapped in premium suede and lined with leather. Toning things down, they’ve gone with a white midsole to complete the sneaker. Be sure to cop these unique sneakers when they drop on April 20th.
New York-based streetwear brand Mighty Healthy has teamed up with Reebok to create a special edition version of the classic Ventilator silhouette. Celebrating the shoe’s 25th anniversary, the collaboration sees the silhouette washed in grayscale — in a fashion not at all simple. The neutral hues stay interesting in a light-to-gray transition from toe to heel, made of premium suede and complemented with a speckled midsole. A striped inner lining completes the look, branded with Mighty Healthy’s logo on the heel.
2015 will be the year of the Ventilator for Boston-based Reebok, but before the collaborations and concept-driven packs, the brand is bringing back the OG colorway. The silhouette, which initially launched in 1990, will be available once again starting this spring. Available for purchase on 1.17.15 online and in-store at our Moreland Ave.
Inspired by an Ice Cream Parlor that has stood the test of time, originating in the mid 1940s, Borden’s Ice Cream is the last of it’s kind. Hoping to pay homage to one of the oldest establishments in the community, Sneaker Politics teams up with Reebok in its latest buttery rendition of The Pump. Aiming to capture the original logo of their hometown Parlor, the upper consist of creamy suede with red and blue accents. ‘Sneaker Politics’ is etched on the suede heel tab with ‘Last Of A Dying Breed’ on the perforated leather tongue.
