Los Angeles based streetwear label Stampd has teamed up with PUMA once again for a collaborative capsule collection of apparel and footwear, dubbed Stampd Athletics by PUMA. Besides performance-ready garments like breathable tee, crew sweaters, tech leggings and shorts, the capsule also includes a noteworthy footwear silhouette in the form of the Trinomic Sock. Featuring light beige-gray upper with a matching gray and white midsole, perforated toe box and side paneling, and darker gray heel collar. The laceless silhouette is co-branded with the German footwear brand’s signature Formstripe found on the side and the “STAMPD” logo embossed on the tongue.

For STAMPD’s Summer 2015 collection, the Los Angeles based label sticks to the script by offering up a set of quilted black and grey hats, coupled with some printed hats as well. Both the black and grey come in a monotone nylon quilt, while the printed ones come in stone print and a dry brush print. The quilted caps both nix the STAMPD branding, but branding is seen on the printed caps. The full line is now available both online and in-store.

In recent seasons, Stampd has definitely come on as the new standard when it comes to producing some nice all-black-everything themed product. Chris Stamp and his namesake, Stampd brand have always held in high regard, the balance of high and low fashion. Taking staple street pieces and infusing it with a luxe approach, the Stampd brand has been able to churn out a plethora of all-leather and heavily detailed pieces over the past few seasons. The latest to arrive comes in the form of the Quilted Lambskin Leather Snapback. Based on a traditional 5-panel snapback cap, the hat is enveloped in supply black lambskin leather and rounded out by slim tonal stitched squared throughout.

When Chris Stamp created his semi-namesake brand, Stamp’d in 2009, the brand’s name featured a subtle apostrophe housed within the letters. Since that time, not only has the brand dropped the apostrophe altogether (changed to simply “Stampd”), but they’ve also shed a lot of the unecessary design trappings in favor of a unique and well executed minimalist aesthetic. Stepping into 2013, one of the most widely recognized items from Stampd comes in the form of the Silver Studded Snapback Hat. The hat is boldly presented with 112-hand screwed pyramid studs on the front section of a 5-panel snapback. The verbiage “NEW ANGELES” is seen as a raised silkscreen on the underbrim and the brand’s iconic “Dope” logo is embroidered along the backside adjacent to the plastic snapback enclosure. Having been sported by the likes of Kanye West and K-Pop stars, G-Dragon and Tae Yang, the Silver Studded Snapback has become a trademark of high fashion-meets-street culture.
