INTRODUCING: Product of New York Fall/Winter Collection

New York label PONY is back with a luxury footwear concept that has produced sneakers with undeniable quality. The first up from their Fall/Winter collection is a M-110 that arrives in a couple different color ways. The M-110 is a modern take on some of PONY’s orignal designs, that has been revitalized for a more premium modern appeal. Each Product of New York sneaker box arrives complete with a shoe horn, shoe trees, dust bags, and three pairs of laces.

Wish x PONY Slam Dunk Hi “Good Fortune” Launch Event Recap

In honor of our collaborative “Good Fortune” Slam Dunk Hi with PONY, we invited out all of our supporters to Kai Lin Art Gallery to celebrate the release. Attendees had the chance to preview the shoe as well as enter a raffle for a free pair encased in a custom made Good Wood box. Coming Soon: Atmos X PONY Slam Dunk Hi

Adding to the mix with our latest collaboration with PONY, the New York headquartered sneaker brand also did a collaboration with Atmos. The two produce two versions of the Slam Dunk Hi, the “NY State of Mind” Pack. The silhouette maintains a vintage look, cloaked in red and aqua suede, featuring a slip of leather for the branding, and a gum sole. Stay in tune with our social media platform as we announced the release of this shoe at midnight.

With the release of our Wish x PONY Slam Dunk Hi “Good Fortune” collaboration just days away, our friend Larry Luk has created a special illustration just for the release. Part of an ongoing set of sneaker art illustrations from the Atlanta based graphic designer that has been heavily featured on Nice Kicks, Luk applies his unique geometric style of illustration to the collaborative Slam Dunk Hi. Coming Soon: Wish x PONY Slam Dunk Hi “Good Fortune”

For our latest collaborative project, we’re happy to announce that we’ve teamed up with the one and only PONY to release a limited edition pair of Slam Dunks inspired by the Year of the Horse dubbed “Good Fortune.” Taking a literal approach with the execution, this sneaker features a red and black color-blocked upper mixed with pony hair panels as well as subtle hints of 3M reflective materials to help stand out amongst the crowd. The Wish x PONY “Good Fortune” Slam Dunk Hi will be available in-store via our Moreland Ave. location on April 25 and six pairs packaged in a custom-made wooden box courtesy of Brooklyn’s Good Wood will be raffled off at the launch event this Thursday at Atlanta’s Kai-Lin Gallery.

Pony Topstar OX Canvas

The Topstars were first released in 1975, during an exciting time which gave birth to sneaker culture as we know it now, a culture in which New York would play an integral part. Normally relying on a leather construction, this take on the Topstar OX from Pony rocks a breathable canvas construction instead, and is paired alongside a sand colored Pony stripe on the quarter panel. Lastly a white midsole works as a clean base for the build.

PONY 2013 Fall/Winter City Wings “Knicks” Royal & “Charcoal”

After just dropping off a nice retro sneaker in the form of the PONY M-100 Hi Black/Red, the storied footwear brand agin reaches back into its archives to bring us something new for the 2013 fall/winter season. Using its “City Wings” model as a base, PONY reworks the classic model in two contrasting colorways. The first of the pair is a “Knicks” colorway, which given its name, sports an alternating Royal Blue and Orange design atop a full grain leather build along with a vintage-styled outsole. On the other end of the color spectrum, the “Charcoal” iteration sees a greyscale makeup consisting of both dark and light grey to cover its leather upper. If you need a solid pick up going into the holiday season, this could be a good purchase.

PONY 2013 Fall/Winter M-100 Hi Black/Red

While many footwear brands have been taking strides to retro classic sneakers within their archive, storied footwear brand PONY has only recently entered the retro market. For Fall/Winter 2013, the iconic brand readies a classic 1980s high-top basketball silhouette in the form of the M-100. Mocked up in a dual “Black/Red” colorway, hits of muted grey give nod to a cement grey hue while colored metal eyelets, grey lace locks and vented side panels finish off the full grain upper. The shoe is positioned atop a speckled grey midsole and paired with a matching red undersole. If you missed out on any of the Jordan “Bred” retros, this might be a good option for you.

PONY 2013 “City Wings” & “M100”

The mid-to-late 1980s were the pinnacle of PONY’s footwear history. Recognized for its iconic status as the pair of shoes that Spud Webb sported during his 1986 Slam Dunk Contest win (albeit, a low-top version), the City Wings make a return this year alongside PONY’s “M100” model. Both of the iterations arrive in a high-top version, with the City Wings hitting shelves in a Black/Red colorway that is defined by full grain leather and a vintage-styled outsole. The M100 is seen with a buttery soft suede composition that is juxtaposed with hits of pebbled black leather, ventilated side panels and an expertly speckled outsole to pop things off. The M100 is touted as a “Survival” pack that lends itself to the outdoor-esque design of the shoe.

Nike Match Classic QS in Pony and Iguana

Nike’s latest Quickstrike offering comes in two seperate colorways for a September 2011 release.  The Deconstructed Match Classic is offered in a premium leather “Pony” and “Iguana” upper.  Two sets of laces come paired wih the set: black and matching tonal colorways.  Both releases are now available for $90 in-store only from our Moreland Ave. location.  Phone orders are always welcome by calling 404.880.0402 ext #2.
