WHIZ Limited x mita sneakers x Asics Gel-Lyte V “Recognize”

Celebrating the fourth of July weekend, WHIZ Limited, mita sneakers, and Asics Tiger USA joined forces to collaborate on its classic Gel Lyte V silhouette. Dubbed “Recognize,” the appealing runner design is decked in an array of colors to celebrate WHIZ LIMITED’s 15th anniversary. Yellow accents streak across the predominantly black canvas, which features WHIZ LIMITED’s logo stitched on each toe, and a multicolored pattern along the brim that extends to the tongue and ASICS logo, evidenced by mesh netting layered over the patterned underlay.

ASICS Gel Lyte V “Sunset Pack”

The ASICS Tiger Gel Lyte V Sunset Pack includes three different colorways taking inspirations from the summer sky at dusk. Drawing on the deep purples, oranges and reds that can be seen in the sky during a sunset, the suede uppers come in a choice of deep purple or black, both of which sport pops of orange on the logos and a dark red lining. Both pairs sit on top of a clean white midsole, with orange or purple wave detailing at the heel respectively, and are rounded off by a contrasting outsole in red or black. There have been some great inline colorways of the GEL LYTE V since its comeback and these have to be up there with the best of them.

Coming Soon: monkey time x Asics Gel Lyte V “Lights & Shadows”

Japanese menswear retailer monkey time joined forces with Asics to drop a very dramatic version of the Gel Lyte V in black and white. The film noir inspired version of the classic runner features the same color palette of the dramatic mystery and suspense films popular in the 1940s and ’50s: black, white, and grey. The Gel Lyte V is presented in a full premium leather upper, with the majority of the sneaker in white, backed with black at the heel and a speckled midsole. Following up the ASICS Gel Lyte III “Dirty Buck”, here’s another heat coming from the good people from ASICS. With a combination of Black and white midsole, the classic shoe features a blue insole lining with reflective perforated panels on the toe box and sides, red branding and piping around the ASICS logo, and underneath is a red sole paired to a bright orange outsole.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the GEL-Lyte III, ASICS taps Teaneck retailer Packer Shoes for a new collaboration titled “Dirty Buck.” Inspired by Packer origins, the vintage running silhouette is executed with an eye of luxury and sophisticated aesthetics found in the older days thanks to an upper constructed of premium suede and leather. Lastly, a combination of plush white and tan leather is seen through the collar and inner booty. Available this Saturday, March 7th at our Moreland Ave. location.

Tokyo-based mita sneakers has teamed up with ASICS once again for a limited edition colorway of the Gel Lyte III sneaker in celebration of the sneaker’s 25th anniversary. Featuring a two-tone blue suede upper, with the darker shade along the quarter panel and lighter shade at the toe and heel. Additional red detailing along the eyelets, heel and outersole give the sneaker a nice touch. Limited to only 1,990 pairs, the mita sneakers x ASICS Gel Lyte III “25th Anniversary” will be available for purchase on January 24 online at midnight.

Bodega is gearing up to release its highly anticipated joint venture of its latest rendition of the ASICS Gel Lyte V. Comprised of a weather-proof version of the runner, the sneaker features Goretex constructions with 3M, nubuck, and ripstop nylon detailing featured as well. The gum outsole feature a speckled midsole while neoprene sock liners and rope laces complement the collaboration. Footpatrol x Asics Gel-Kayano Trainer Olive

The Gel-Kayono Trainer was first released in 1993 and was the start of one of the most successful running shoe lines in the history of performance shoes. Named after its developer Toshikazu Kayono, which still plays a leading role in the ASICS design team today. As a creative starting point for this collaboration the Footpatrol team chose their own name and its meaning to draw inspirations from. They included materials that are also used in high-quality military and outdoor equipment.

Up front, there’s sports mesh for ventilation and the blackest of black suede known to mankind. Sporting the trademark asymmetrical color scheme, the medial side flaunts 3M glitter-infused charcoal support cage. Speckled midsoles with polka dot laces and alternating shades, while a splash of purple compliment the heel. Coming Soon: The Good Will Out x ASICS Gel-Lyte V “Koyo”

Inspired by the color of the Japanese autumn leaves, The Good Will Out teams up with ASICS for its latest rendition of the Gel-Lyte V “Koyo.” The word Koyo is to the Japenese autumn what cherry blossoms are to Spring. The design uses three shades of dark red standing for the many red tones of the autumn leaves. Another color is bright yellow, which originates from the yellow edges seen on fallen leaves. The red upper is made of premium nubuck leather while the heel feautures a structured leather panel with a haptic quality of a leaf. Following on from the announcement of the Commonwealth x ASICS Gel Lyte V “The Gemini” special edition sneakers, we now get our first look at the upcoming collaboration between ASICS and Commonwealth for “The Gemini” Gel Lyte V. Inspired by the zodiac sign of the Gemini twins, this new take on the Gel Lyte V features a tonal deep blue upper and suede leather. Each shoe reverses the placement of the suede and leather for reversed textures. Packaged with a special bandana, the Commonwealth x ASICS Gel Lyte V “The Gemini” will be available soon at our online shop.

Hanon teams up with ASICS and Ontisuka Tiger to create a premium duo of kicks in honor of Scottish Samurai and legendary explorer Thomas Glover. The Gel-Eprius features a shade of mint and purple suede on the upper with a white midsole and hum outsole outlining the sneaker.
