We are happy to announce that tomorrow we will be hosting a special event with streetwear heavy-hitter Jeff Staple and Long Beach’s own Vince Staples here at Wish. The first 15 people to arrive will be able to experience the 1-2-1 interview followed by a general public meet and greet with Jeff Staple and Vince Staples. Don’t miss out!
Earlier this summer, Jeff Staple traveled down here to Atlanta for a special talk at the High Museum of Art and an exclusive interview with hometown favorite B.O.B. hosted here at Wish. The rapper/musician has been at the top of various music charts since 2008 and continues to create cross-genre music, which can be seen in his new mixtape titled “No Genre Part 2.” Jeff and B.O.B. sit down to talk about his beginnings selling snacks to mainstream recognition and the importance of making mistakes.
This past week, we had the opportunity to host Jeff Staple for an evening at the High Museum of Art as well as an exclusive “1-2-1 w/ jeffstaple” interview with B.o.B. Bridging the gap between streetwear culture and the world of fine art, over 150 attendees got the chance to experience an inspiring talk from Jeff in which he spoke on his own personal journey and the concept of impossible. A select few were able to take part in a unique portfolio review session functioning as a quasi-workshop where Jeff counseled budding entreprenuers on the ins and outs of the industry after in depth analysis of their portfolios.
The following day, Jeff Staple held his popular “1-2-1 w/ jeffstaple” interview series with Atlanta’s own B.o.B here at Wish. The two talked about B.o.B’s rise in the industry as well as his next steps in front of a small live audience. Take a look at more images from the past week below, and be on the lookout for footage as well.
