mastermind JAPAN x Medicom Toy Bearbrick Collection

mastermind JAPAN is easily one of the most well-respected labels within the Japanese fashion landscape. Despite the conclusion of the brand’s lifespan with the presentation of the final mastermind JAPAN 2013 spring/summer collection, the brand has aligned with Medicom Toy to release a special range of Bearbrick figures. The 200% Bearbricks are offered in a two-pack that includes an all-black character and a chrome or gold iteration. Both characters are emblazoned with the iconic mastermind JAPAN skull & bones motif along the anterior side of the chest. Both two-packs (either Black/Chrome or Black/Gold) are now offered directly through Wish. Retail is set at $215 USD per pack.

Teaming up with Medicom’s Be@rbrick, A Bathing Ape release a limited capsule collection of tees to interpret the duo’s fusion. The BAPE head is given Bearbrick extremities on a black or white premium cotton t-shirt. Subtle BAPE tag embroidery is seen on the shirt’s left sleeve cuff.
