Finding the transition between your boat-show-wearing days of summer and staying warm for Winter can be tough.  Don’t sacrifice the moccassin look you like for your dad’s bulky boots.  The Clae “Jones” in the brown (Umber) offers a moccassin/boat style toe box with a mid-top upper to fit under your denim.  Set in a premium dark brown leather, the Jones comes with one pair of matching round laces and an additional pair of contrasting red laces.  Selling for $140, You can pick these up in our Moreland location or online.

Blending fashion, practicality, and durability, Palladium has been in the boot making business since 1947.  Over the years Palladium boots have been used for every industry imaginable and have withstood the test of time and a lot of wear.  The “Baggy” silhouette has the versatility to be worn down with the upper and the tongue folded as well as straight up with a taller feel.  A darker brown rubber sole is cushioned for added comfort and the the Baggy only gets better with more wear as the leather will form to the wearer.  Retailing for $115, you can pick these up from our Moreland location or on the online shop.

Adidas teamed up with Ransom Holding Co. for another stellar season of the Creek boot.  Set in a medium-thickness grey wool, the Creek comes with two laces 1. one off white pair and 2. a mocassin leather style brown pair.  The track record of the two brands should speak volumes as this is going to be one of the best looking and most durable boot this Fall/Winter 2010.  Don’t miss out on these at our Moreland Location (in-store purchase only), for $175.

New to our brand list, but certainly not new to the industry, Pointer footwear releases a boat-style chukka boot for Fall/Winter 2010.  The words are tossed around so frequently these days, but the Benson is a one-of-a-kind, genuine hand-made product.  From start to finish these shoes are stitched together and looked over vigorously before making it to your closet.  100% premium navy and tan tumbled leather gives a classic look.  A pure white sole adds the necessary contrast.  Extremely limited quantities on these shoes, but you can pick them up for $240, for a limited time from our Moreland location or on the online shop.

The collection is so good we had to give it double exposure.  A soft “Marine Blue” suede upper, similar to a navy color, sits upon a “wheat”/tan colored sole.  Brushed brass eyelets and tonal blue laces also come with an additiona wheat colored moccassin lace.  Another boat style mid-top, the Bluff Mid is one of the most comfortable boots we can suggest.  The Bluff Mid is now available in our Moreland location for $130.  Stock is selling fast!

Starting in sneakers only a few years ago, Creative Recreation has made quite a stir on our shelves over the last few Winters.  The Dio mid is a higher silhouette boot, with a slimmed down upper to cut down on bulk.  All premium goods, the eyelets give nod to nuts & bolts.  The iconic Creative Recreation strap across the toebox is still prominent and red, round laces give the Dio a little life.  You can pick these up from our Moreland Location for $180, now available!
