The AJ 2 “Rivals” is inspired by the NBA franchises that challenged “His Airness” the most. This is a ladies-exclusive drop that follows the “What The” pattern, with both left and right shoes and their respective panels sporting an assortment of colors and materials. Each pair honors four of the most formidable NBA franchises from the mid-to-late 80s and early 90s. These teams significantly challenged Mike and his Bulls, undoubtedly fueling his winning mentality for future success.
The left shoe, dedicated to the Western Conference, features the team colors of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Portland Trailblazers. Those being the first two teams that challenged MJ and his Bulls in the NBA Finals. The right shoe, for the East, honors both the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks, two who provided some of the most epic battles in Mike’s career. Lux materials on the silhouette include quilted leather, similar to the Don C, jersey mesh, basketball-textured leather, satin, and patent leather.

To celebrate Jordan Brand’s first women’s apparel capsule, we partnered with DJ OHSO to turn The Gallery at Wish ATL into OHSO’s “Bounce Dat Beauty Parlor” & do something engaging with Atlanta’s growing population of women’s streetwear enthusiasts. The Parlor services included custom nail design, a baby hair station & a temporary tattoo artist. The Jordan Women’s Flight Collection was designed with a “function-first” aesthetic in mind, the clothing has a streetwear edge that can easily transition from the gym to the club.
Months ago, Drake’s “OVO” Air Jordan Xs were made available in a small run at the Canadian outfit’s pop-up store in Los Angeles. But for those of you who weren’t able to snag a pair back in April, it appears that Jordan Brand will be awarding you with another shot. Drizzy’s “OVO” Xs have here been done up in premium leathers, noting an overall off-white look. Clean white laces accompany the kicks, coinciding with the midsole accordingly. “Jordan 23″ branding takes over the tongue, while the Jumpman logo is present at the heel, and OVO’s signature Owl can be seen on the insole. The outsole boasts a translucent, speckled effect to complete the pair.

Now official images have hit the web, showcasing the MTM pack in all its sleek and stealthy glory. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan line, the two-shoe collection by Mark Parker, Tinker Hatfield, and Michael Jordan features the first and latest Air Jordan models with a twist: their materials flipped. The Air Jordan 1 comes constructed with a full Flyweave upper with contrasting hues within the textile weave to create the classic lines of the iconic shoe’s upper. Likewise, the Air Jordan XX9 trades its Flyweave for the Air Jordan 1’s leather construction, presented in an ultra-premium black leather upper, complete with the shoe’s usual FlightPlate technology below for a blend of modern performance and luxury.
With the next entry in Jordan’s successful 30th year anniversary, comes the Air Jordan Son of Mars ‘Hot Lava’. Drawing inspiration from some of Jordan Brand’s most popular silhouette’s, the 3, 4, 5, and 6, the sneaker is dressed in a variety of colors including white, black, wolf grey and hot lava. Netting is seen under the laces, topped with a black velcro strap. The Jumpman logo is seen on the heel and tongue, with Jordan Brand’s signature elephant print is accented throughout the toe and heel. Following up on the recently released Hare 7’s, Jordan brand continues their “remastered” program with the re-release of the retro Air Jordan 7 “Bordeaux”. These fall in right line with the other successful releases in Jordan brand’s 23rd anniversary. Originally released in 1992, and re-released in 2011, the new and improved 2015 release features a black and gray upper, with the gray being darker and more accurate to the OG release. Look for these to release in-store only this Saturday, July 18th.
Arguably the most anticipated sneaker to release this summer, the Air Jordan 11Lab4 is back and this time in an all red everything colorway. Inspired by the Jordan 11 patent leather and the Air Jordan 4 silhouette with a molded toe-box that we first saw in the Air Jordan 4 “Laser”. Another week gos by and another Jordan brand release is waiting to go down this weekend at Wish. This time around the Jordan Spizike, is back with another colorway for the summer. Up next we will see the shoe coming in a “White/Poison Green” make up. Featuring a White leather base, with Cement detailing throughout. Light Poison Green, University Red and Cool Grey are used to make up the rest of the look. Speckling can also be found on the mud guards and lace holders to add another fun touch to the shoe. Be on the look out for this shoe to drop tomorrow in-store and by phone order at noon.
Another exciting weekend for the Jordan heads is a throwback to the ‘Playoff’ Air Jordan 12, this 20 sports a black synthetic upper, lasered cross-strap and white overlays on the medial toe and heel.
