Eclipse-City-Blog-1Before Jordan Brand goes big with the release of their Air Jordan 10 City Pack coming in 2016, they decide to try the same tried and true concept on their Air Jordan Eclipse silhouette. For this pack, the sneaker giant has chosen to highlight three major European cities in London, Berlin, and Paris. The pack goes for a very simplistic but clean aesthetic with its neutral tones and choice of materials. The trio of sneakers all come in a leather upper, while the three cities are each represented with details on the tongue and insole.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 7 Retro “Nothing But Net”

Nothing-But-Net-Blog-1Jordan brand takes us back to the 90’s with this retro release of the Air Jordan 7 dubbed “Nothing But Net” but also known as the “Sweater” 7’s. Straying from the typical subtle color ways known to the Air Jordan 7, this louder version of the silhouette is based around MJ’s outfit worn to Barcelona in 1992, as well as the commercial of a classic showdown between his airness and Larry Bird from the same era. The upper for this one comes in leather and features sweater accents throughout. The tongue trades the typical polyonal tongue for a simple black tongue to complete the sneaker. Look for these release this Saturday, November 14th.

Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle “Baroque Brown”

The Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Jordan Brand Franchise with a premium update of the iconic original. The exquisite full-grain leather upper in a distinct Baroque Brown features hardware dipped in precious metal. The 24K gold-plated eyelets, lace dubrae and lace tips gleam along with the Wings, tongue and heel logos following suit. Look for this super premium Air Jordan sneaker to hit Wish shelves October 31st.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 8 Retro “Three Time’s a Charm”

Jordan Brand‘s 30th Anniversary has cashed in on some rare Michael Jordan memories. The Air Jordan 8 is coming into prominence for its own 23rd Anniversary and the Jumpman will nod at the Chicago Bull’s first trio of championships with the Air Jordan 8 “Three Peat”. Featuring a white perforated leather on the side panels coincide with contrasting black while the usual terrycloth circular logo is replaced with a unique hoop scribble to reference the Larry O’Brien trophy. The accent colors of Infrared 23, Bright Concord, and University Yellow all represent a fallen foe during the first three-peat. The Air Jordan 8 Retro “Three Time’s a Charm” drops on October 24 at our Moreland Ave location.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 1.5 High The Return “Soar”

Ever since the release of the Fragment Design x Air Jordan 1 release that shook the sneaker game up last year, sneakerheads everywhere have been itching to get their hands on a pair. For that reason, Jordan brand is back with with the next release of the Air Jordan 1.5. Being dubbed by some as the “Reverse Fragment” because of the reversed colorway, the sneaker takes the upper from the Air Jordan 1, and meshes it with the Air Jordan 2’s sole, making it a super clean hybrib of the classic sneaker. Look for these to release in-store only, this Saturday, October 27th.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “UNC”

Next up in the line of Jordan’s remastered programs comes this OG colorway of the ever-so-popular Air Jordan 1. Paying homage to Jordan’s college colors, the “UNC” colorway of the Air Jordan 1, this is one sneakerheads or simply AJ1 fans won’t want to miss. The Tar Heels inspired look is made up of a powder blue paired with a clean and simple white. As always, you’ll see the signature Air Jordan wings on the sides and Nike Air logo on the tongue. Its been three decades since its original release, so be sure to secure your pair when it releases.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Royal”

Jordan Brand takes one of its most iconic silhouettes and accompanying colorways and cuts the out the top for this low top version of the Air Jordan 1 “Royal”. The Jordan 1 “Royal” has been hugely popularized over the years and Jordan Brand has yet to introduce a low top version of this sneaker/colorway combination so this one is sure to be a hit. In typical Jordan 1 fashion, the sneakers upper comes in a blend of black and royal leather. “Nike Air” branding is seen on the tongue and in-sole, while the Nike swoosh is there per usual with the Air Jordan 1. Look for the sneaker to release next Wednesday, October 7th.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 14 “Varsity Royal”

15 years since its initial release in 1999, comes the return of the Air Jordan 14 “Varsity Royal”, or “Laney”. This sneaker, meant to pay homage to Michael Jordan’s high school, Emsley A. Laney High’ signature colors, was the first sneaker Jordan brand released after Michael’s second retirement in 1999. The sneakers draws inspiration from the Ferrari 550M design and features a nubuck upper with yellow detailing throughout. Look for the sneaker to release this Saturday, October 3rd.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle “Vachetta Tan/White”

The latest release in Jordan Brand’s 30 year anniversary screams luxury with its use of premium materials. Jordan brand, taking a page from what Hender Scheme has made their signature colorway, uses a vachetta tan to wrap the shoe. Attention to detail is no stranger to Jordan Brand, and in this case the 24k gold plated accents shine bright. Unlike previous Pinnacle models, Jordan Brand has ditched the snakeskin textures from its previous releases. Holding this shoe, you really get a feel for the premium quality of the leather they have chosen to use. Look for these to drop in-store this Saturday, September 26th.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 11 IE Low “Referee”

Chris Paul was spotted with these upcoming Air Jordan 11 IE Lows during Team USA mini-camp, and fortunately, it looks like these won’t be a 1-of-1 sample. This all-black colorway that is tied to the famed “Referee” sample from 1996. A brighter shade of red, a less-tumbled leather on the tongue, and suede accents instead of nubuck are featured on the 2015 pair. With a mostly all black upper and translucent black midsole, these will sure catch the eyes of collectors. Be on the look out for the shoe to be released this weekend at our Moreland Ave location.

Air Jordan 1 “Black/Gym Red” & “Gray”

Jordan brand, in the 30th year anniversary, continues to build off a successful year with this in-line release of a “Black/Gym Red” Air Jordan 1. Premium leather coupled with nubuck dresses the upper, while nubuck also finishes off the tongue. The classic wings logo has been replaced with simple and clean “Air Jordan” lettering. To complete the sneaker, interchangable Jordan patches have been included consisting of a Jumpman logo and a “Rare Air” patch.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 9 Retro ‘Anthracite’


Michael Jordan loomed large in the sport of basketball. From the city of Chicago to the worldwide stage, His Airness dominated the global landscape of basketball. The Air Jordan 9 encompassed all of this into one shoe, with different languages and symbols on the outsole as well as a simple and clean upper. The Remastered Air Jordan 9 Retro also marks the return of the molded lace loop all the way to the bottom. Previous retro versions removed the first molded lace loop, but now it’s remastered and back in its original form.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 6 Retro Low Black

The Air Jordan 6 Low continues to be an enticing option this summer thanks to some smart colorways that channel a certain classic aesthetic. The latest colorway, the Air Jordan 6 Low “Black/Chrome”, harkens back to the early 2000s as this OG style wasn’t particularly well-received upon its arrival. In fact, a major storyline in Jordan Brand’s 30th Anniversary celebration includes the remastering of the early aught’s Retro+ and LS colorways. With this release you get a little bit of both thanks to the low cut style of the memorable Air Jordan 6 in an ominous all black while metallic chrome accents keep things clean on the midsole stripes, Jumpman branding, and lace locks. Available August 29th for $170, the Black/Chrome 6s are the perfect shoe to transition us into fall and the looming back to school season.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 9 Retro “Militia Green”

Jordan Brand continues with their onslaught of 2015 releases from its remastered program with the release of the Air Jordan 9 Retro “Militia Green”. This one comes wrapped in premium leather, while mesh is seen on the tongue. Hints of a rare “Militia Green” are seen throughout the sneaker, while a militia green speckled midsole adds some detail. Jordan’s number 23 is seen on the heel with Jordan branding in multiple spots throughout the sneaker. Look for these to drop this Saturday, August 22nd, in-store only at our Moreland Ave. location.

Air Jordan Son Of Mars “Marvin The Martian”

The Jordan Brand is planning on showing some love to another one of their hybrid silhouettes, The Air Jordan “Son of Mars.” Recently previewed on the Air Jordan 7 Retro, The Son of Mars is also decked out in black with hints of red, grey midsole, while vibrant green translucent outsole is also seen to make the shoe stand out. Grab your pair in-store at our Moreland Avenue location now while supplies last.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 7 Retro “Marvin The Martian”

Jordan Brand cues Space Jam once again with their release of the Air Jordan 7 “Marvin the Martian”. This release sees a premium black leather, and neoprene on the tongue. Hues of university red, yellow, purple, and poison green are seen throughout the shoe, while Jordan’s number 23 on the heel completes the retro sneaker. Jordan Brand’s 30th anniversary continues to prove to be successful with the help of their remastered program. Look for these to release in-store only this Saturday, August 15th.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan 11 Retro Low “White/Cobalt”

Nearly 20 years after its original release, Jordan brand is ready to bring back the white/cobalt colorway of the retro Jordan 11 silhouette. Elephant print detailing is seen on the shoe along with a cobalt colored Jumpman logo on the tongue. A leather upper and icey sole complete the shoe. This will be the first time this colorway has been released since its orignal release in 1996, so you won’t want to miss this one. Look for the sneaker to release this Saturday, August 1st, in-store only.

Coming Soon: Air Jordan Son of Mars ‘Hot Lava’

With the next entry in Jordan’s successful 30th year anniversary, comes the Air Jordan Son of Mars ‘Hot Lava’. Drawing inspiration from some of Jordan Brand’s most popular silhouette’s, the 3, 4, 5, and 6, the sneaker is dressed in a variety of colors including white, black, wolf grey and hot lava. Netting is seen under the laces, topped with a black velcro strap. The Jumpman logo is seen on the heel and tongue, with Jordan Brand’s signature elephant print is accented throughout the toe and heel. Look for these to release in-store only at our Moreland Ave. location Wednesday, July 22nd.
