The latest Air Jordan 12 Retro returns in a color way reminiscent of His Airness’ Chicago based team. The gym red upper is complimented with red laces and red lace eyelets while white takes over the midsole. Black accents in the inner, back heel, and outsole help complete the colors of the team His Airness’ helped win six championship titles. Look for the Jumpman’s latest to release this Saturday, July 2nd.
It’s been nearly two decades since the Air Jordan 12 was first introduced. Recognized as the first Air Jordan with Zoom Air cushioning, the icon was quickly heralded for its innovation and the luxury it brought to the hardwood. Sporting a new colorway celebrating MJ’s school days, the elevated innovator now returns in true fashion. The grey and white upper coupled with various blue accents embody His Airness’ North Carolina college origins. The latest Air Jordan 12 will be available this Saturday, June 25th.
The 1993 Air Jordan VIII was introduced as MJ was on his way to a third consecutive title. Wearing the cross-strapped design, he eventually captured the trophy yet again. Three trophies later and over two decades since, the iconic Air Jordan VIII returns in celebratory fashion. Luxurious leather structures the design, and comes coupled with golden accents as a nod to MJ’s third career championship trophy. The finger prints throughout the gold symbolize the moment of His Airness’ teammates passing around the Larry O’Brien trophy in celebration. Hidden under the cross-straps, lies a triumphant message: ‘WORLD CHAMPIONS’ and ‘AGAIN AND AGAIN’. For the other, the sneaker comes dressed in all black leather, with confetti detailing along the side. The Air Jordan 8 Retro ‘Championship Trophy’ Pack will be available this Saturday, June 25th.
At the time of the Air Jordan 10’s initial release, the man behind the Jumpman retired from basketball to compete on the diamond. When you flip the shoe over – the sole gives nod to some of His Airness’ most memorable achievements on the court. In 1995, Jordan Brand took the story-telling concept a step further with the ‘City Series’ Pack. Decades later, the city inspired pack continues with the Air Jordan 10 Retro ‘Charlotte’. The white, blue and purple throughout the shoe was borrowed from Charlotte’s basketball team while the stitched ‘Cha’ is yet another shout to the city. The sole reveals a white Jumpman over on the Charlotte’s team colors that captures His Airness’ achievements from 85 to beyond. Look for the Air Jordan Retro 10 ‘Charlotte’ to drop this Saturday, June 18th.
The Air Jordan 9 released in 1994 in four classic color schemes, including a ‘Powder Blue’ design nodding to MJ’s school days. Although never worn by number 23, the design quickly became iconic. Over two decades later, the original iteration is celebrated with the Air Jordan 9 Low set in a spirited blue finish. This 1994 retro returns in a bright blue upper with a clean white midsole and outsole. Bright blue Jumpman symbols grace the white portions of the shoe. The heel of the shoe sports His Airness’ number in white. Above the 23 sits a Jumpman over a globe in black, symbolizing an evolution into a worldwide phenomenon. Look for this 1994 classic to release Saturday, June 11th.
2004 saw the Air Jordan 2 Low return for the second time, led by a selection of new color ways for both men and women. The new looks included a color scheme nodding to His Airness collegiate greatness. Now, the school spirit is stronger than ever with the return of the blue-accented silhouette in modern fashion. Premium leather uppers, eye stay, heel piece, midsole, outsole, and wings logo on the tongue reflect His Airness’ school colors. The Air Jordan 2 Low ‘UNC’ will be available Saturday, June 11th.
Its about that time of the year for Air Jordan 11 Low’s to drop, and with this years release, Jordan Brand does not miss. Bringing back a classic Varsity Red colorway, and pairing it with an all new Midnight Blue rendition, this pack sees clean colorways on a clean silhouette. The Midnight Blue opts for a gum midsole, while the Varsity Red gets an icey blue treatment. Don’t sleep on these when they release this Saturday, June 4th.
Although Jordan Brand has its origins in basketball, the label shares one thing in common with the sport of soccer; emphasis on greatness and success. For Jordan Brands next big release, they take one of soccers greatest, Brazilian star Neymar, and give him his own Air Jordan 5. This one is surely one of a kind with its all over dark grey reflective upper, offset by hints of infrared. Neymars number 10 meets Jordan’s number 23 with their numbers on each heel. Look for the Brazilian soccer stars first Air Jordan to release this Friday, June 3rd.
