Multidisciplinary fashion/art collective Le Grand HEIRS has made a name for themselves by juxtaposing contemporary and classic ideas together to form a unique post modern approach on streetwear. By toying with the idea that certain things “don’t belong together”, HEIRS has successfully merging genre’s, industries and mediums that have yet to meet. With their fourth commission, “WHITE NOISE” – HEIRS synthesizes musical genre’s that are typically world’s apart – to create a new tier that blends multiple aesthetics into one distinct point of view.
For this round of the adidas ZX Flux, the three stripes brand added a brand-new skin. Inspired by the vintage court shoe form and infused with iconic Vans styling cues, the TH Court Lo LX and Sk8-Hi LX returns with new colorways for Fall 2015. Acclaimed Vans designer Taka Hayashi works up another compelling mockup for this season with Vans Vault. Looking to the Sk8-Hi silhouette as a base, the Engineer LX as it’s dubbed, features a lush leather upper with criss-cross straps harnessed together by a metal ring – a nod at the design aesthetics seen on Americana boots. Hued in Marshmallow/Dark Gum, Hayashi’s deconstructed low-top is updated with a split tongue and trisected quarter panels, creating unique color blocking arrangements across each style. Finishing touches include tonal laces, embossed herringbone toe bumpers, diamond patterned sidewalls and Taka Hayashi branding embellishments.

Limited Edt and adidas Consortium are teaming up on a collection consisting of the iconic Superstar 80v and the futuristic ZX Flux. Hailing from Singapore, the city-state’s homegrown sneaker retailer looked inwards for inspiration. Taking from the traditional Batik fabric that adorns national garments, the ZX Flux is fully covered in the pattern. Taking on a deep blue hue, the floral print incorporates the orchid and expertly blends in both the adidas Trefoil and Limited Edt’s own logo. The Superstar 80v takes on a much more subtle approach, with the print adorning the tongue. With a black upper, the shoe is adorned with rose gold detailing and an eye-catching rose gold toecap. A special luggage case is included if the shoes are bought together, with each box numbered. The pack will be available tomorrow online only. The Superstar 80v retails for $150 USD while the ZX Flux retails for $130 USD.
